He slowed his labored breathing, trying to calm his trembling. It wouldnt stop though. His body continued to shiver and quake and he slid down the far wall from the door. The breeze seeped through the window and blew his messy hair. Kaname hung his head in despair.

Yuki went to go investigate what was going on. She sensed Kaname was near-by so she directly went to his room and knocked on the door. "Kaname-senpai? Are you alright? I really want to talk to you." she said to the door.

Zero came out of the headmaster's office. He had a new assighnment to fufill.
He should probably tell Yuuki, but he had to get there fast. He ran towards the school gate and swong it open running into the town in the depths of night. He rans toards the house that was on fire, he needed to kill the vampire who started this. Plus there were children in that house. He ran faster, but the house didn't seem to be getting closer. Zero found a shortcut and ran through it. The path led to the very front of the house. He stopped running and looked at the old church burning to the ground. He ran towards it and went into the fire in search of people.
(( yoSH! Going to Paris won't be here for like 3 weeks unless i sneak my laptop see ya!))

Kaname's breath hitched, and he held as still as his trembling breath would allow. He didnt raise his hanging head or move from his spot. He knew he should respond to Yuuki, but he couldnt. But what other choice did he have? When could he ever deny that girl? He winced, and let out a small growl that only he could hear.
"What, Yuuki?" He asked in a cold monotone. His eyes were still blurred over.

Yuki heard Kaname's voice. "Are you mad at me?" she asked quietly, she knew that he was and she knew that she broke his heart. "I understand if you dont want to talk to me again." Yuki said softly.

Kaname pressed his lips together. "It isnt about being angry or not Yuuki." He said coldly, his voice piercing the thick air. he allowed the door to unlock, but he kept the candles and lights out. He didnt want any light. And she could let herself in.

Yuki walked in slowly. She really hasnt been in Kaname's room before, and it was a mess, glass everywhere. She looked at Kaname with a worried look. Yuki sat next to Kaname, "What's wrong?" she asked.

Kaname abruptly stood and walked over to the pile of debris that had once been his magnificient bed, keeping his back to Yuuki and stepping over other heaps of shattered wood, metal and glass. "Wrong? Yuuki..." He chuckled darkly. "I do not believe anything is wrong, Yuuki..." He stared at the wall in front of him numbly.

Yuki looked down, she definately knew she hurt Kaname. Yuki began to leave, "I'm so sorry Kaname." she said quietly. "Everything is my fault."
Tear begin to fall down her cheeks. "I understand if you don't ever want to speak, or even look at me again." she whispered while walking out of the room.

Kaname shut the doors with his mind, locking them and keeping Yuuki from leaving. "I am easily forgiving, Yuuki," he said evenly, folding his arms over his chest, his vision was still blurry, "but this time...Im not sure if I can. For years, Yuuki, I have watched you and that Kiryuu, and for years I have tolerated it, forgiving you for every time you hurt me." He paused, looking upwards, "But it makes me wonder if you have come to expect it now. Yuuki. You are an engaged pure blood vampire. You should act like it. Unless you wish to end this engagement?" he asked, turning his head slightly in her direction, almost so that he could look over his shoulder at her. His eyes were a tad bit redder than normal.

Yuki almost reached the door until it was slammed shut. She looked back at Kaname. Yuki heard what Kaname was saying and it was all true. She hated herself, more then ever. "..K..ka..kaname." she said softly, tears still falling down her cheeks. "You don't have to forgive me,just please don't hurt Zero, everything is my fault, blame it on me." she said softly. She was engaged, she was a pureblood.

He grunted. "Again you evade me. This has nothing to do with fault. Do you want to end this engagement or not? I leave it entirely up to you, but I will not be used, and I will not be second to the hunter." He closed his eyes, despair washing over his face again. He trembled, and for the first time, he actually felt a tear run down his cheek. But his back remained to the girl.

Yuki nodded. "I still want to be engaged with you, i'm in love with you, you've protected me for so long." she said. "And i vow to protect you, even though I hurt you." she said sadly, more tears fell down her cheeks.

He turned. "You say that now. But how about tomorrow when you see Kiryuu again?" His fists clentched, and the wall behind him started to crack, "Its always me when its just us, but then when he comes around, Im second best. It always works that way. In the end, Im forgotten. Out of sight, out of mind." He closed his eyes, trying to calm himself as the wall cracked more.
