When Alistair entered the CAZ, after what felt like an eternity away from the building he considered his home, he immediately found the location he had trained last. Knowing that Red was close by, he began talking."A while back... I had this idea to advance my fire manipulation. Naturally, I couldn't start it as a trainee, and I've been extremely busy teaching others until recently. I called it the Hell's Grasp initiative. Well, now you can just call it Hell's Grasp. It's a style based on modern methods of combat that revolves around fire. Since fire happens to be your main element, I'm offering you the chance to learn something I made myself. No one else knows about this, and it's going to stay that way."
"Hell's Grasp. I like the name." She smirked, walking behind him until he came to the training spot, to which, the feral moved to his side. Staring at the flooring and walls for a moment before looking back to see Greed and everyone else here. Even Zee, who was busy cleaning up his birthday confetti, courtesy of Nocturne. "You and me only, got it.... You want to start now?" Vermilion ovals moved back to the same comforting, stern expression that she recognized. A smile pulling up the edge of her lips.

((Okay so C rank is gonna be 7 for me right? if i'm understanding the rules correctly?))
"Alright, my bad, I'll keep that in mind next time," Jace turned and left. He was a novice now and he was sure that meant it was time to start training again. He thought to go to the barracks and get some seep but then he realized that he had just woken up so he shouldn't need any. Instead he went over to where all of the training books were situated and bougt his hand to his chin as he pondered which skill set he should continue with first. Eventually he decided on his element, by means of eeny meeny miny moe, but still it was a decision. He pulled the book from the shelf and began to read some o the techniques and common practices for learning them. There was a good bit more to read this time around.
One skill in particular caught his interest and that was air weapons. He glanced down at his dagger and smiled, he wouldn't have to carry the eyesore around anymore but he could still use the skills. It would also free up extra space for another weapon and Jace toyed with the idea of getting a shotgun or even two. It would leave him with even more to learn but also an even more formidable foe.

All the confetti and crap were cleaned up (finally), so Zethus put the broom away and went back to training. He continued where he'd left off when he was so unceremoniously (and fairly happily) interrupted by the confetti explosion. Soon he was getting going fast enough he occasionally disappeared for a few seconds at a time. He definitely hadn't mastered Dash yet, but he was making progress. It came easier the more he practiced it.

Greed kept his eyes closed as the gunslinger slowly walked away from him. "There's a good boy." the demon said softly as the gunslinger left, his anger subsiding as his meditation continued. Soon enough the bolts of electricity would stop travelling up and down his arms as he ceased to continue purifying his energy. The berserker would remain in a meditative state however for a few more moments, enjoying his peace of mind while he had it. After a while he stood up and sauntered over to the books on bloodlines and classes, grabbing a large book on general knowledge of each and sitting down before he opened up one of the books and began reading. He was simply looking over how he would defeat various bloodlines and classes, as well as common ways to identify these bloodlines and classes. After all, the more knowledge he had about an enemy's fighting style, the easier it would be to put his enemy underneath the dirt. The Diabolus soon lost himself in his studies, his eyes roaming over the pages as he read, quickly taking in information about different types of fighters.
((No, I think it's like 2. Keep the learning bonus you normally would from Greed.))

Alistair nodded, "Yes. You will begin now, while you have time to spare. Trust me, you will begin to value the time you have to yourself after holding this position for some time." Alistair had no need for taking out his notebook. The man knew the style by now. "The first stage isn't like training for something like Muay Thai. It's not necessarily physical. Like any stove, you have a pilot flame inside of you. Your goal is to find it. You should be able to meditate and feel it. After training, you should be able to feel it without much effort. You will also be able to surround your limbs in flames and not even feel the heat from your flames. You will be able to condense them at will. Control over your element is required, otherwise you'll never be able to master this style, or this stage for that matter. So go now and meditate."
xxxxx Vahn walked into the Combat Training Zone with his hands in his pockets, searching for his pocket watch as he didn't know what the time was...even though the darkness would always be there since this IS Nocturne and all. Vahn already had all of his training done in another land and was ready to rank up now, a mission would suffice to rank up. That or devouring the heart of another trainee would be nice too.
Surprisingly she stood there, eyes slightly dazed and far off looking. Pallid features unchanging as her mind began to wander. She wasn't thinking of one person or place, just nothing at all, a blank slate whose surface is nothing but pitch. It was a comforting darkness, the air chilly like the night she opened her eyes on the mountain. Then it started, an ignition but only a tiny spark of electricity. Violently it grew, a flame ebbing at the center of an abyss. It would grow larger, higher and it spread like wild fire. A tyrant wave under the calm of undead flesh. It was a pulse of fire that baptized her entirety. It felt warm, radiant. A jolt to deaden nerves.
Her vermilion eyes finally shifted as they gazed at Aliatair, she only nodded with confirmation that they could continue.
Jace had been staring at his book for a good minute but hadn't yet started his training. His heart wasn't really in it yet, sure he seemed to be progressing quickly and could continue to do so but... he kind of wanted to have a little fun first. As he drifted off daydreaming and trying his best to make it appear as if he were still reading the book in front of him. That was when Jace noticed a dark elf who had just entered the CAZ. He hadn't immediately started on anything so Jace assumed he was new, at least to this place and decided a conversation might give him decent excuse to hold his training off for at least a while longer. "Hey, I'm guessing you're new here?" he asked, somewhat cautious so as not to offend him if in fact he wasn't. "Sorry if you're not, but most come in and get right to it. Jace by the way." Jace was unsure of how the dark elf would react, he always somewhat expected contempt from anyone who wasn't human, but all the other races seemed pretty tolerant so far. Then again this WAS Nocturne, it was somewhat of a melting pot.

xxxxx Vain was startled for a short moment as he wasn't concentrating on the human that was coming to speak with him, open and easy small talk of course. Van glanced at Jace and pulled out a small black book, scribbling words in elvish and sketching a small image. Jace would notice that he glanced up top him from time to time, as if he was taking mental and physical notes. Vahn was just about to open his mouth and speak elvish, his native tongue, but he held his tongue and thought about his next words. Vahn had a bit of a light accent to his voice as he spoke, but it also held eloquence and grace, "good day sir, I am Vahn. Sadly, I am not new, but rather, I haven't been in Nocturne long yet I've always been a citizen. I was traveling with someone as a student and trained outside of this land."
The Dark elf's extremely well mannered demeanor took Jace by surprise and he could only suspect that it showed on his face. He was also pretty puzzled by the little black book. "Well you seem to be incredibly well educated," Jace commented pointlessly. His gaze fell upon the book for a moment before looking back up."So what are you? Trainee, Novice, Higher?" Jace also intended to ask about the little black book but didn't want to ask more than one question at a time, it made conversations hard to follow sometimes. put his hands into his pockets and took a quick few looks around, Greed was still meditating and Jace valued the look of his face too much to consider letting him know about the Dark Elf, and Red was obviously training.

xxxxx "Yes, I suppose we're all well educated, its just how we project that use of education that defines us," he said as he notices Jace's glancing eyes towards the book as he stashes it, that and it was written all over his face, "never you mind about the book, just remembering names and faces in case anything happens to my memory and what not. As for my rank, I'm just a mere trainee, couldn't actually take a genuine test because my teacher needed to 'fix the sheets' with some cleric female."

ℳamoru flexes the strange appendage that was affixed to his left arm as he prepared to use the next seal that would help him in combat. He breathed lightly as he took a sharpened dagger and dug into his arm. The sickening scent of blood would fill the air around him as he let the red liquid pool into his open palm. [1/2]
His red gaze would stare affixed by the red liquid pooling in his open palm for a few minutes as he gathered enough to cover his gauze-taped hand. He slapped the hand onto the lanky bicep that caused a bloody hand-print to cover the upper arm as blood begins to drip down it. He would silently send a rush of purple energy down his arms activating the strange symbol. He launches his left fist in a quick swiping motion causing, the arm lengthens by 10 feet as it smashes into the wooden dummy far off from him. [2/2] {Reach}

Like a the pull of a magnet the pull of a connection drew him to the very site of which he had spent countless times within. A connection which had arisen through a single bite and grew stronger as the ages passed on. "Alistair," a voice would reach out as the entrance was breached. A man with eyes as red as the Devil's stepped through the threshold. "It has been some time, Beta," the man spoke in deep tone. But a few strides seemed to have the distance between him and the king diminished. His eyes peered down from their seven foot perch and burned bright with a strange glee. 'Due tell me,' the thought would be delivered through the Telepathy of which they possessed. 'Would it be possible for me to indulge upon one of your many citizens?' His eyes scanned throughout those within. Slowly they observed each and every individual one by one before returning to the view of Alistair's with a devious grin beneath. "I do hope you would not mind." An icy blue - prominent to his second-side - would wash over the current sanguine eyes before the scarlet hue grew bright once more.

When Red was finished with the meditating, he fished for a tiny note pad in his pockets and tossed it at Red. It was in those notes that the man jotted down his notes for the skills of the first stage. But there was a presence, something he had not felt in a long time. It was a presence he knew well, one that he'd never forget. Finally, the man came into view. Velox. It had been too long since he had seen the man well enough to move. His change had taken it's toll on the man, but obviously, he recovered fairly quickly after that. When he heard his name, he nodded in acknowledgement. "Too long of a time, Velox." When he heard the man's thought's ring through his mind, Alistair crossed his arms against his chest. *That can wait. Control the urge for now. I'll find someone for you soon enough.* He never thought he'd be having this conversation with the man that usually referred to him simply as 'leech'. *Explain to me... why did you let him turn you? The fact that you would join the ranks of the 'abominations' surprises me.*
