Marketa couldn't do much other than blush and nod and follow Ian to the fountain. A boy had never made her feel so special in her before now. She didn't want to say anything for the fear that, in her nervous state, her accent would make her speech nearly indecipherable.
"Thanks," Sunrise sighed gratefully, taking his proferred hand and allowing him to pull her up. "You look right snazzy then, don't you?" she added, looking Remus up and down. He cleaned up nicely.

Ian ran his fingertips on the top of the fountain. He smiled up at her, flicking his fingers out to shake off the water.
"Thanks," Remus said, his eyes looking her up and down. "You look- look gorgeous," Remus said.

Sunrise blushed and smiled shyly at Remus. "Thank you." She looked toward the horizon and her eyes widened. "Wow, would you look at that moon? Stay away from the forest tonight, huh?" she asked with a small casual laugh.

Remus turned and stared in sadness. It was an almost full moon. One more day, he thought to himself. "Yeah, it's almost a full moon. It's beautiful, isn't it, Sunny?"

"It really is amazing," Sunrise said, though she was no longer looking at the moon, but at Remus. "Are you okay, Remus? You look a little down."

"What? Oh, sorry," Remus said, coming back from his trance. "Sorry about that, Sunny. I'm fine, don't worry about me. How are you?" He put an arm around her shoulders lightly.

"I'm good, now," Sunrise smiled, leaning ever-so-slightly into Remus when he put his arm around her. "Today was a good day, wasn't it?" she remarked, looking up at him shyly. "No one cried, no one's life was threatened, no one got caught sneaking into Hogsmeade, that makes for a pretty good day at Hogwarts."

"Well, I'm pretty sure that Sirius took Franki over to Hogsmeade, but they didn't get caught, which is always a good thing. If they had gotten caught, Sirius never would have gotten his kis- oops." Remus cut himself off, covering his mouth. "I shouldn't have said that," he tried to say through his hands. He couldn't say anything right anymore, not without getting someone in trouble or revealed for something that other people really shouldn't know.

Sunny smiled sweetly at Remus. "I believe I'd gone temporarily deaf a moment ago, and missed that last bit there. No use trying again," she said innocently, staring up at the stars while twiddling her thumbs.

Remus smiled and hugged her. "Thanks Sunny," he said brightly, holding her tight. Then he held her out at arms length and held out one of his hands. "May I have this dance?"

Sunrise's eyes widened drastically. Perhaps Lily's little wager with Melanie (who was mysteriously absent) would come true after all. Then Lily would have to go on a real date with James. "Of course you may!" she responded hurriedly, taking Remus's proferred hand and moving close.

Sirius stared after Lupin. He shook his head slightly. Time to wake up! Sirius thought to himself. "So, Franki, did you enjoy yourself?" he asked casually. He glanced over at her, with her long hair and gorgeous features. He swooped in and gave her a slight peck on the cheek.
Lily stared at James. She blinked back into the world, after staring at the brown eyes . . . "The Beatles?" she asked nonchalantly.

James snapped his fingers and pointed at Lily with a grin. "Yes! That was it! Man, I love those blokes. Silly name for a band, really, but good music." He then bobbed his head for a few moments too long while he tried to think of something else to say. "Er...I also like Elton John...he's got a boyfriend, you know."
