Last year I spent around $5000 for tuition and nearly $1000 for textbooks/misc equipment for 2 semesters. Now, having 4 years left of school you can imagine how much $$ I (well, mostly my parents sweatdrop ) have to shell out in total. That's about as much as a decent annual salary! xp

xD!
Well, at least they aren't on BS! =DD
It's erm, French for Welfare. "Bien-etre Social", or BS, what my mum affectionately calls the people next door.
Okay, maybe not very affectionately.
But I laugh every time I hear her say it because it reminds me of "bullshit". And she's French so she never actually realized what she's saying is just THAT rude.

Your all going to University right... well I'm not. I'm going to St. Lawrence College in Kingston and well tuition cost compaired to Univeristy's are a little bit lower. But Guh... still... it's NUTS the price to get an education that depending on the feild you are going in, might mean nothing.
Thats why I'm doing to programs, Computer Networking and technical Support (2 year course) and Computer Programmer Analysist (3 year course but only 2 for me since the CNTS and CPA have basically the same first year).
Not only that, but they are coming out with this RETARDED laptop thing that is going to tack on another $1800 a year raising tuition to $5000 a year, and after your course and spending money on the lappy, you have to BUY it if you wanna keep it, which is another $1200.
Talk about F'ed in the A. Guh. Guess thats the price of knowledge these days.

Kingston? In Ontario? But I thought colleges in Ontario WERE Universities.
In Quebec, a student does five years of high school, two of Cegep (a.k.a. College, around here) and then goes to University.
OR, five of high school and three of Cegep, and skips University altogether. But it's hard to find a decent job if you take that root.
So I'm a bit confused as to what you mean by "College", whether it's what we call "Cegep", or something else completely.

So.. I dunno. I know NOTHING of Cegep. So sorry, I can't answer that question.

Veelah B-but. Isn't "College" just another word for "University"? Oh no... not at all. With Uni... you get a bachlors in something.. with College... you only get a deploma... Uni is minimum 4 year... college can be 1 to 3 years.... depends on the program. PS... My spelling is why I'm not doing a B of English! lol.

Don't drink near computers, man. You never know what idiot things will come out of your mouth. Or, fingers.
TRUST me, this is coming from someone with firsthand experience.
