Trygon can't deep-strike into units, cannot assault on the turn it bursts from the ground and the Mawloc is cheaper and weaker than the Trygon.

Anyone know what to do with gunfexes?... sweatdrop
From all that I have found, I don't think I will be able to field mine...
Should I rip a gun off, and add scything talons?
Or am I wrong, and they will still exist, just be very very expensive?
I am confused. confused

Saw a well-painted Mawloc today at my FLGS and it looked spanking good. Same goes for the Raveners, especially the one with the lower body that looks like it is bursting out of the ground.
Also, the Nids lose their battle report. Marines win, with help from the Legion of the Damned.

Tyranids lost? I guess they've broken the formula of the new army always winning the inaugural battle report. But the Marines probably won because the Legion is a new release as well.
Hmm.. Nids aren't getting as much love as Guard though, they had three whopping battle reports in their release issue.

Most pictures showed Nids attacking Guard, so they were compensating somehow I guess.

I'm going to show off a friend's Tyranid things that he has in the display window at our local GW store, he got the Trygon for about 25% of the normal price for doing it as well. I'll start with some WIP pictures of the Display base. ;3    And here's the size comparison with a Carnifex.   And here's the whole display base with a few genestealers, gaunts, fex and the trygon, looks pretty neat if you ask me.  Might go along and show his Chaos Dwarfs sometime as well in the Fantasy Section.

eek It's amazing! I'm glad I held out on purchasing the Forgeworld one, I'm gonna have to buy one up! surprised
After reading through the new 'Nid codex, I'm starting to get very interested in the idea of starting up an army. Popping up and swallowing units seems like a very fun proposition xd
By the way, is this the first time GW has mentioned Necrons vs Tyranids in cannon? I couldn't help but smile at that little snippet.
