She frowned and returned to her conversation, unintrested in Angel.
"There are differnet versions.
I like the ones where he lives and gets busy.
Call me when we should lunch."
She laughed, and hung up.
Chieko rose, and left for her office. He was really too weak to do much else, so Angel was essentially just a blow-up doll until she got him to a hospital.

Maybe I should play invisible? Trist mused. Maybe he might not be too upset with her after she'd ditched Rose and Anthony.
Yeah. Right.
The young cop wondered if the sadness on the Chief's face was all the dead officers that were killed just outside the station. Her throat constricted, thinking of the families; sons and daughters, and wives that they had left behind.
But you have no one, isn't that right? a little voice sounded in her head. Poor little girl, all alone in the world.
Trist shrugged it off, telling herself she was okay with living alone. She trusted only herself, so it was only herself she could live with.
Right?

Angel looked away and layed motionless on the couch, "F*****g whore, I should of just reported your a** to the athorities earlier." he smiled at her, "One was watching your appartment."

Jasmine slid her cellular phone closed and placed it in her back pocket. She would go eat some pizza... then, return and have a bath in that tacky orange bathtub.

Claire nodded in response about her husband. "Chief Rivers?" she checked, having only met the chief once or twice during social events. "I-I'm fine, just a little shaken up...."

Beans had been moved to a new room. The hospital also phoned for a police guard to be sent to watch Beans from now on.

Bubba finished scalping his latest victim, then threw the still-living man head-first into the running engine of a Ford pickup truck. The man screamed in protest, but the most disturbing noise came form the truck, which Bubba promptly kicked and sent, man-and-all, falling down the cliff side, to roll eventually onto sharp rocks at the bottom.
Bubba had a thing for cliffs.

Chieko rolled her eyes.
At least his smile wasn't totally ruined.
"Of course they were, pet."
Chieko got up, and gave him a kick in the stomach.
"Now you just hang tight, and eventually we can have lots of sex and babies.", she mused, going back into the kitchen.
It was an open plan, so she could always throw a few knives his way if he tried something.

The kick wasn't somethign he expected. He started couching profusly. He turned to the side and started to cough up some blood. Looks like he took too much dmage to the stomach.
