me hates teh fafsaness. xp that fafsa sucks much. especially when the gov't is only going to give you $150 bucks per semester. i can't even buy books with that gonk

kaopiper actually, its because my little sister was talking to people she met on Gaia on MSN in a way that was inappropriate for an 11 year old to talk. but this is also the man that uninstalled sims 2 because it has a teen rating and he didnt want my sister to have access to it. she has no concept of her age n relation to others' and what is and is not appropriate, and he has no understanding of how to impress that upon her, and so just gets scared of it and wipes out manifestations of this instead of the root problem. in my opinion.

I'm guessing you have to pay the money back, with interest or something?

I'm guessing you have to pay the money back, with interest or something?No... As far as I know, it is all grants. Just, actually FILLING out the form is the evil part. You have to be all up to date on your taxes. You have to know all this stuff about your parents and it is hard when you have no contact with one of them... It is like an endless proccess of doom. But the amount of money you get depends on how poor your family is, how many siblings you have, if your parents are married, (And if you have step-parents...) if your step-parent claims you, if you have contact with both, one, or neither of your parents, if you ever served in the Marines, Navy, Army, or Air Force, if you have dependants, if you are a dependant, if you have a criminal past, if you have disabilities, if you've ever had a job, if you are currently married or engaged... If you are, or ever have been, a cow... Ok, so I made that last one up... ninja And from what I understand, it is harder for men. They have a whole other form they gotta fill out in addition to the FAFSA. It's crazy! And the way they word questioning, you're not quite sure what their asking. It's like: "What is the total income of the student, the student's spouce, and the student's parents' as of July 1, 2004 before taking out for food, taxes, misc. expences, illegitemet costs, and essential cost, and after. Do not add or subtract total possible gambling gains or losses. Do not pass go! Do not collect $200! Note student and all immediate family, and current or future spouce are subject to $10,000 fine, or up to 10 years in prison, or penalty of death by being drawn and quartered publicly, or any combination, should failure to calculate earnings properly occur." Ok, so that's a BIT of an over exageration, but they do threaten you with fines and jail time for lying on certain questions. It is evil I tell you. Evil!

Aren't vacations great? It's about 3AM on a Monday morning, and I'm at my dad's office, helping him with this whole server thing he's doing.
