Urbane  I LOATHE SELF PORTRAITS.
I can't draw myself accurately. I can draw other people though! Oyyy.
Anyway, anyone have any pointers for drawing yourself?
My art class... gr, we have to do self portraits. Again. And again. And again. Oh how I despise them.
Problem is you're too pretty for paper xp Still gonna give it a shot though. Hmm, pointers. I should know this, being the narcissist that I am and always drawing self-portraits. Not to mention being the resident photorealism whore... @_@ Are you working from photoreference or a mirror? Either way, just watch your proportions like with everything else. Most people have pretty specific features that define their look, even if you can't get a photorealistic likeness, as long as you nail those you can at least suggest it enough to know it's you.

me really likes the color combos in this picture! *hugs* the greys and
blues are all shibby. and stuff~

Kmkm- That was using a mirror, and the imput of some of my nearby friends. You just said exactly what out teacher was repeating over and over again. But it still doesn't mean I can do it. xd

Well, it's definitely a good start. Having seen a bunch of pics of you, I could tell it was a self-portrait, and that means there's at least some resemblance considering I've never seen you in person.

D: I love how surreal he/she seems, being in those colors and that light.

Maybe because I'm the one who took the picture and know that it was taken in my living room.
