Good to hear! Is your family holding up okay?
Oh yes ... Were we "supposed" to set up an art swap with someone during the Art Party? I know we did a lot of "quick" work, but I'm a little confused towards the meaning/purpose of art swaps.
(sorry for throwing all these questions at you sweatdrop )

xd The great thing about Art Parties is that you aren't "supposed" to do anything. If you wanted to, you could. All I ask is that if someone's done art for you as part of an art swap, you return the favor. That's it.

memai> heart ! i like the plot of killer queen, as aydee said it would stand well on it's own. the IC one would be really neat, as it's a really original idea, but it would involve a lot of backstory to let the reader know what's going on.

Koji - Thank you. My room is my pride and joy. Years of collecting and decorating. whee
I know!!! I got it from a friend for Christmas. Funny story, actually. I'd ordered a katana online, then got a message that they were out of stock and wouldn't be back for 6 months. I got all depressed and gave up, since I'd finally decided on that one katana after weeks of looking. Since I'm an idiot, my friend blatantly asked if I'd ever gotten my katana and I didn't think anything of it. When Christmas rolled around, she said she had a large present for me that shouldn't be opened in front of her mother. Red flag right there. I mean, jeez, what did this girl get me? Anyway, she got me a sword. It's ALMOST perfectly straight (what can you really expect for an online, cheapy sword?) and it fits perfectly under my wings.
Ashram - Yeah...later. I really hate my art at the moment. I only offered to do a trade with Akahoshi A) because I have to participate in the Art Parties and B) she loves me no matter what I do. xd We'll see how much time passes before I feel like drawing again.
I tell people that if they spend 15 minutes in my room, they'll know everything about me. That's only a slight exaggeration. I'm sure you noticed all my books. I have over 100 of them in plain sight and quite a few more in storage.
The Captain was, indeed. My ex-stalker gave me the new bottle in honor of my graduation. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with an 80-proof bottle of rum by myself, but I'll manage. It's too good to share with college students!

And your room reminded me of mine before all my moving around. Walls covered in pictures and poster. I miss them all, but I kinda left home in a hurry so things had to be left behind.
80-proof rum, I haven't had something like that in a long time. *drools*
Lastly that cosplay'ish IC AD is hawt. smile heart

AD - Everything I have is in boxes or on my computer. Plus I don't know how long I'll be in one place, I don't want to put stuff up only to have to take it down a couple months later. It a bit of a pain, but until I find a place to stay permenatly, no huge wall covering for me.
crying I don't need your rum anyway. *eats candies*
*sigh* I need to buy food and do the dishes.

Well, just from looking at pictures of your room, it at least gives me a better idea of who you are. (you were even daring enough to take a picture of yourself in the mirror, even though we can't see your face ... *growl* Nice IC Cosplay! surprised 3nodding )
Books are great, if I could peel myself away from video games I'd read more often. (currently reading Shogun, James Clavell is my hero whee )
Artists/writers/people are always their worst critique, I know what you mean when you say you hate your art. (I still do, to an extent, because I know I'm not really that good, but I digress)
I want to try rum and coke some day ... (is not big on drinking, but does enjoy sake)
