One of my very favorite bands is playing tonight in my city, but it's sold out and now I'm not able to go. gonk So has anyone else really looked forward to something lately and been let down at the last minute? Many a time. I've had a couple times when I thought I'd get to see Vanessa Carlton (my favorite musical artist ever) but it never worked out. Then there's other things that fit that description, like meeting a certain person (no one from here) from online who I thought I would be able to, but then couldn't. I could go on.. gonk crying

SugarBeat_Angel Don't you all think it is sad, that Martin Luther King Day is the only real uncommercialized holiday left? Of course... That's not including Columbus day... Even though I refuse to recognize that as a holiday. *Nods*
I can remember how my old school used to celebrate it... I wonder why they don't specify that he did not find North America...

Not to mention the fact that the Chinese were here trading WAY before Columbus was even out of diapers...

Happy Hangover Day, everyone!
Now, off to my 11AM Physics lab to see how many people actually make it there.
Note: I'm not pushing the "all irish are alchoholics" stereotype... I'm pushing the "most college students drink a lot, especially when they're given a holiday where it's practically expected" stereotype... which is a true one.

Serendipiti Koukon_Tenshi I'm sorry I have not been on, but I just got back from hell ~_~' question Long story short, I went to Mayo for a repeat of hell-testing because they lost my blood... I had to be prodded with a needle five times... Then my blood clotted up in the catheter (I think that is what it was...) after the third stick... So she had to remove part of the device... And yea... ~_~ She told me not to look and I felt blood going down my arm...
