"Professor!!" Desiree heard some mumbling inside the room, coming from a man. "Professor McGonagall we-" Her eyes widened again, onlyfor a split second this time. "Wormtail...it's the Dark Lor's servant. He-Professor McGonagall!"

"Silence!" roared Wormtail, although it came out as a type of very aggrivated squeak. He wiped the back of his hand with his mouth. "Children--if you say anything, I will kill your dear Headmistress, and you, and your family. And the Dark Lord can watch you, if he wishes to. Go back to your Common Rooms, and McGonagall may be here in the morning." Feeling tremendously proud of himself, he siezed McGonagall, who was struggling to come free, and snatched up the Portkey.

Desiree was frozen in fear, her some shuffling and then silence. Eventually, she thought to magically unlock the door and burst into the room, her wand drawn. The office was empty. "They're...they're gone..."

Ray nodded in disbelief. The office looked as crisply organized as it usually was; it seemed that there had hardly been a scuffle. "What--what do you think we should do?"
"My Lord!" shouted Wormtail, dragging Professor McGonagall behind him. "I have her! I have her! As you requested, my Lord!"

Desiree sank down in one of the chairs, rubbing at her temples. She had an awful headache. "I don't know...but we need to tell someone."
Malfoy raised an eyebrow, bringing his wand to his side from where it was n front of him.There was a Death Eater writhing in agony on the ground in front of him. "Now get up and hope I never catch you again." He kicked the wretch, who whimpered and crawled away. "What did you say? You've retrrieved her already?"

Ray's face drained. "But...you heard what he said. Don't you think it might be a better idea to wait until tomorrow morning, and if she's not back, then tell someone what we saw?"
Wormtail nodded with gusto. "Yes, my Lord. Here she is." He was trying to seem humble and proud simultaneously, and neither characteristic suited him very well.

"Ray...do you really trust that she'll be back?" Desiree chewed on her nails nervously. "And he never said she'd be back alive."
"Well, well. It appears you have exceeded even my expectation. Well done." Malfoy grinned darkly and stood up, approaching his old teacher with arrogance. "Well, well. It's lovely to see you again, Professor."

Ray shrugged. "I don't know," he admitted. "I just don't think that we should take a chance."
Wormtail roughly tore the gag out of McGonagall's mouth, shaking with excitement.
McGonagall stared daggers at Draco. "Well, Malfoy?" she spat tartly. "What is it that you want?"

Desiree looked rather nervous, twisting her fingers in her lap. "But can we just ignore it?"
Draco laughed, low and cold. "What do I want?" He circled around her, his wand still drawn. "I think you know what I want. I want a little retribution for what you did to my poor father."

Ray buried his face in his hands. "I don't know. Do you think that he really could watch us, if he wanted to?"
McGonagall was unmoved, but her jaw clenched. "Poor, indeed," she cried, furious. "Lucius was an egotistic coward, and a weakling. And I am afraid, Draco, that you are following in his footsteps. Kill me, if you so wish. Drive me mad, torture me. Do what you would like to try and prove to yourself that your father was not as much of a coward as you are."

Desiree nodded seriously. "Honestly, I wouldn't put anything past the Dark Lord and his servants."
"Silence!" Draco magically gagged the woman, his eyes slit as he glared at her. "My father was no coward, nor am I! Look how far I've come. I've gone from a young child under Severus's wing and have taken over everything! Wormtail! Tell her how I am no coward."

Wormtail stammered, "He--the Dark Lord is no coward!" he confirmed, his eyes wide.
McGonagall, quite unable to say anything, rolled her eyes and gave Draco a small, doubting smirk.

Desiree sighed. "I suppose...but what are we to do now?"
"Thank you Wormtail, I-wipe that smirk off your face!" Draco growled lowly and pointed the wand in her face. "Don't make me force you unconscious before I kill you."

Ray shook his head, running his hands through his hair. "Go back to the Common Rooms. Wait. You know we won't be able to distract ourselves."
McGonagall raised her eyes evenly, spitting the gag out of her mouth enough so that she could speak. "Go ahead! Your monologue proves your cowardice, Draco, and the fact that you cannot cope with mere words underlines it. Let your weakness stand as a testament to your dear, departed father."

((okies. oh btw im leaving in about an hour and going to mass over night))
Desiree nodded as she got up and leaned against him. "This is going to be a hard night."
At that, Draco snapped. "Crucio!" He pointed his wand at McGonagall's throat, his cold eyes now resembling something like his former lord's.
