Maureen looked at him. "Do you just not want to answer the question? You can go back to the living room if you want. She doesn't seem that nervous about you being over here." She laughed at the face she made. "Do you want some water?"

She mouthed the word water back to her silently. She thought about it for a moment before nodding slowly.

"Okay." Maureen got up and grabbed a glass and filled it. She handed it to her. "Drink up."

SHe first tried to lap it up out of the cup but the sides were too high, so instead she dipped a hand into the cup and brought the water up to her before slurping it up.

Maureen shook her head and took the glass. "Watch." She slowly took a drink from it. "That's how you drink from a glass." She handed it back to her. "You try."
She then looked at Ally. "I don't understand how they could just take something like that."

She stared at the glass for a second before lifting it up to her lips. She leaned too far back and all the water came splashing down on her. She dropped the glass in fright.

Ally shook his head. "I have no idea, but they did. I passed out a vampire and woke up human."

Maureen picked up the glass and refilled it. Only half way this time. "Here try again. Don't tip it so much."

She looked at Ally. "That's just weird. Have thought about what exactly you're going to do to get it back?"

She took the glass back reluctantly. She was afraid of it and it took her a second before she drank out of it. After a few tries she went back to scooping it out with her hand.
