Jeff shook his head, "Be my guest, I'm almost out anyways." His eyelids were getting heavy.

Steph blinked at Maureen and watched Ally leave. Why was he leaving?

"Can you do me one last favor though? Can you get a bath started for her? I think the noise from the shower would scare her too much."

Maureen looked at Steph, "I'll be right back." She got up and grabbed the clothes Ally and Talia brought out and took them into the bathroom with her. She set them down on the counter and grabbed a towel as well. She tested the water and turned it off. Finally she came back into the main room. "Come on. It's bath time." She grabbed Steph and took her into the bathroom.

Steph had freaked out a little mentally when Maureen had left the room. But relaxed as soon as she came back. When they entered the bathroom she looked at the full tub questionably before a light came on in her head. Steph leaped in causing water to splash up onto everything.

Maureen laughed as she got splashed with water. "I guess you love baths."

Steph was busy sticking her head just far enough under the water that she could make bubbles with her nose.

Maureen smiled at her. "You are adorable." She grabbed the shampoo bottle and put some in her hands. "Come here you little dork."

Steph looked at her innocently but complied. It was wonderful to feel someone touching her in a way that didn't hurt.

Maureen started to wash her hair and she made sure not to get any into her eyes. "Maybe we should give you a haircut. You got a pretty wild mess here."

Steph was too relaxed to care what Maureen was doing or saying. She started making a soft purring noise.

Ally wandered back into the living room to find the others. He paused for a moment to smile and shake his head at Jeff, and Yakov before finding Katrina. "Only those two could manage to look adorable with gun shot wounds."

Maureen laughed again. "I thought purring was a cat thing." She started scooping handfuls of water to wash the suds out of Steph's hair.
