You see when we set off about halfway there we noticed somthing was wrong with the forest, We ran into other groups who were retreating back to the village. They all muttered things like" The enchantress must have lost it" I didn't belive it so we pressed on, we ran into some Fuz's but they ignored us. To my surprise one of them could talk and was repeating" Girl back" many times!
Anyway the forest set it's usual tricks and It ended up with Jinx flying ahead as a look out and Sea making a fog of rain shielding us from view. When somthing did attack it usally ran after a few of my kicks.
Then all of the sudden the forest went deadly quiet. Jinx and Sea both yelled "hide!" at the same moment and we hid in some tree branches.
A dark cloud passed over us and then for one instant the whole forest seemed to quiver...then as soon as it had come, the bad feeling vanished.
We crawed down to find ourselves two yards from the finishing point, we sent up the winning flare(which you missed since you were looking after Becky(aka Lyra).
It turned out everyone had either gotten lost, gave up, or was found unconsious with Fuz's watching them like sentery's.
Some other rare creatures showed up around the wounded and didn't leave until help arrived. The people who were injured clamed the enchantress really must be alive for what ever had attacked them hadn't fataly wounded them.
Well after that as you can see we got back but these two haven't stopped bickering..." Katie finished with a sigh sweatdrop
