Chris stuttered, his whole body starting to shake.

Alex drug the boys in the house. "Good thinking."
He let go of Yuki and Chris' hand and locked the door.
"Every stay low to the ground and keep quiet."

Chris sat on the floor and clung to Yuki, his whole body shaking.

Tynan crouched down and hugged Alex, starting to worry.

Yuki watched as a dark green hummer turned on the street and stopped at the fire. Three men got out and approached the fire.
One of the men had blonde hair.
Yuki peered out the window. "Dad!" He pushed Chris off of him and headed for the door.

Alex tackled Yuki to the ground and covered the boys mouth when he started to yell. "Shh. Be quiet. We don't want them to know we are here."

Chris fell over onto his side and whimpered, looking outside.
"I-I don't like the looks of them.."

"Don't go running out there yet."
Tynan looked at Chris and pet his hair softly, able to feel him shaking uncontrolably.

Alex continued to hold the struggling blonde down. "I don't like the looks of them, either."
He looked down at Yuki. "Stop struggling. I don't want them to do experiments on us..." He looked over at Tynan.

Fear overcame Tynan when he heard this.
"D-Don't mention that..
Please."
Tynan looked and sighed, not wanting to relieve that experience.

Alex watched as the army men checked out a few near by houses then jump back in the Hummer and drive off.
"Well, looks like we are safe."
He let Yuki go and the blonde bolted for the door. Alex grabbed him again. "You can't go out there. Your father isn't nice and you know that. He'll want to hurt you."
Yuki fell to the floor and started to cry. The blonde wanted to be with his father. He wanted his father to take him home, but he knew Alex was right.

Tynan knew how it felt to want your family, even though you couldn't.
His own family, his brother and father, were two of the people who caused him so much pain.
"Please don't cry, Yuki..
I know what it's like to want your family, too..
Even though you cant have them."

Yuki clung to Alex. The blue haired vampire was the only family he had. He tried to calm himself. He didn't think he would react that way when he saw his father. Not after what was done to him.
"I-I'm sorry..." Yuki mumbled into Alex's chest.

Alex rubbed Yuki's back. "There is nothing to be sorry about. It's okay."
He felt bad for the kid.
