Maureen pulled out a carton of eggs, milk, ans some cheese. She turned and looked at Ally. "You could a couple of frying pans." She pointed to one of the lower cabinets. "They're right in there." She went back to looking in the fridge. "Oh, awesome. I didn't even know I had a full package of bacon in here."

Steph couldn't help but stare at Ally. She had never been up close with a human before Maureen, but he was different. She didn't feel scared for the first time in her life with Maureen and Ally right there.
