Julia walked through the woods carefully. She knew the beasts that lived here well and she was ready for them. Even though she was so young, she had the wit of someone twice her age. She sighed heavily as she stopped at a tree and rested for a moment. Hiking through the woods always got her tired. She kept a close lookout for those who could hurt her as she sat down and rested her back up against the trunk of the tree.
