Well I'm back, what's going on? Has the lottery been running smoothly? Any new members?

Defunct Adjectives Well I'm back, what's going on? Has the lottery been running smoothly? Any new members? we've had a few people (one or two) popping in, The Party Platform is currently active with one of the new guys. Other then that, I can't really see a huge difference, mostly because there's no way to bump that fast by myself ( I seem to be the only active member in my timezone sweatdrop it's disheartening to see the thread drop to the fourth page a second after you've bumped). I checked the Novos Account a couple of times to see if anyone was trying to trade, nada, although, I haven't checked since last week. On a side note (And I'm not so sure how useful this will be) : Gaia is bringing out user ads, looks like they'll work like googleAds do , but are meant only for Gaia specific thingers (like guilds and lotteries and what not). You have to pay real money for them, which is a small hitch. Investigation forthcoming.

Real money? The same pay per click system? I hope they're kidding, those things are a phenomenal rip off unless you're actually making that money back.

I hope they're kidding, those things are a phenomenal rip off unless you're actually making that money back. which is why I don't think that the idea will be incredibly popular, although the scheme is reasonable cheap ($5 for 10,000 impressions). Actually, it's not that cheap... I still have yet to see where these ads are going to be (perhaps noone has bought any yet) or if donators will be able to see them (since a huge portion of gaia donates, this might be problem). oo er, It's also per impression not click, so you're paying just for people to see it (or not, 'cause of selective blindness and what-not)

Hm, well that's reasonable. $5 for 10,000 impressions isn't terrible. I guess their reasoning is its like donating except you're getting advertising in lue of a donation item.
Still... real money... sure it isn't going to be like the Neopets bulletin thing?

Defunct Adjectives Well I'm back, what's going on? Has the lottery been running smoothly? Any new members? Three new members, but only one's active... Still, that's pretty decent percentage for us... The lotto is... running at any rate... we've had absolutely no purchases since before you left... other than that, it's just been a bunch of looking around for recruits and talking on the Party Platform. Nice to have ya back sir.

Try posting in the later hours (Deviant, you can help to especially with the different time zone). It tends to slow a bit more after 10 PST.

One thing we could do is create new threads in ED and GD. The old threads are all off topic and would turn off more people than they would attract.
