((-hiss-gurgles in frustration- Gaaah! I can't miss any more days!! I knew it wasn't a smart idea to go right to bed yesterday! Oh, and y'all don't mind if I suggested a friend of mine join? She's rather creative...however, creating a non-powerplaying character may be hard for her. xD
OH! I saw a Raziel action figure! A Raziel action figure!! WITH a Soul Reaver! -fangirl squeal-
There was something else...Oh, yes. Not patting Aergan was a good idea. He's currently a Stymphalian Bird. ))
Aergan had long since strutted behind Zaira, not so much to avoid the fight, but to take a closer look at Zaira's 'condensed power.' "You know," he muttered, "that may not be the smartest idea. Sure, you control it, but what if someone were to tamper with your control?" He ruffled his sharp feathers slightly, mostly out of habit while he was thinking. "They are impressive, though.
A portal opened right underneath Aergan, causing him to jump up and squawk at Akume's emerging head. Akume grinned and looked around. "I heard someone talking about ghosts."
Aergan shook his head. "That was forever ago. Go back and play."

Upon reaching the entrance, Kioshi stood in the shadows of the doorway. Without even the slightest bit of effort, his body flew into a rage-effect. Eyes as bright as a star, blistering the air around them. Wings unfurling with enough power to blow apart the doorway completely. His power was more than it had ever been before.
And then... just as suddenly as it had happened, it died away, causing his body to fall onto the ground firmly.

((Yay! whee Oh and Zenzen, I did have Tamnir shoot a direct attack at it. It was a third air blade, sorry I wasn't clear. I'm going to make the trap more subtle than flashy if that's ok. If not just tell me how you envisioned it going off and I'll edit my post.))
Tamnir knew the moment his third air blade hit the trap. He could feel the dust shift and hear the crack of electricity as it coursed through the oddly well conducting stone of the arena. His mom was right, this place was quite a boggle. He didn't hold out hope for the surge to get through the ring of nothingness Rick had set up to defend himself. So he'd help it leap frog over the black moat. He didn't bother making a tugging motion with his hand this time. Instead he made two wide circles with his palms facing each other as he drew up enough electricity. Shifting the flame to expose a small bit of stone he let go of the electricity he'd aimed at the spot. Without a breath to spare he took hold of the flames and started rotating them as he fed them. The fire grew hotter as it spun till tendrils of it nearly lapped the stone at the edge of the ring of dark. He didn't know what the melting point of the rock was so he was careful not to suddenly just incinerate the fortress. His goal was to melt the stone and whatever else he had behind it, if his eyes told the truth then it was ice, and get Rick out for a more physical scuffle. The more he assessed the situation the more he came to the conclusion that he and Rick were yin and yang. It was kinda annoying.
Rem heard the pop and the crackle of electricity and felt it coarse through her at almost the same moment. She grunted as the not-so-unexpected jolt caused several muscle groups to spasm most uncomfortably. "Tamnir you little punk." She hissed through her teeth, since her jaw muscles had clamped down to the point of being sore. But she had to admit, she was proud of him, he took in his surroundings while in a skirmish at took advantage of it. She was still going to smack him though.
Just as the effects of the trap faded her senses were assaulted by a familiar energy. She turned just in time to see the door frame shatter. She felt oddly cold as it retreated and the man fell. She couldn't help but cover her mouth with one hand and stare for a moment.
Tamnir got goose bumps as he felt the wave of power was over him. He quickly deployed his wings and shot through a shower of rust colored sparks to land at a better position between Rick and who ever the hell just dropped into the arena. His set of black wings stretched as the white pare below them shook themselves slightly; a nervous tick.

Kai chuckled at Akume scaring Aergan, especially Aergan's reaction. She then focused back to the fight, a smile on her face still as it lingered on the image of a flustered crane. Amusement shone with it as she watched Rick set up his defenses.
"That IS impressive. The kid has more talent than I thou-"
Her body suddenly jolted straight and stiff. Her smile and amusement flashed off her face to be replaced by surprise. She lingered in the aching numbness that it brought, too stunned to feel or do anything. She would recognize that energy from a miles away. Her heart pounded like a drum in her chest, making her feel it throughout her body.
Before anyone could tell she was gone, Kai had already taken off halfway across the arena towards the direction of the energy. She thought of nothing else but concentrating on the location of it. She stopped as she came to the archway that led to beneath the Arena and saw the glowing eyes. She stared transfixed at them, wondering if she were invision it or not, until they vanished and the sound of a body hitting the ground came to her ears. Kai hissed a gasp and sprinted in the darkness. Not allowing her eyes time to adjust, she had to estimate and feel her way to the spot she thought he was.
Kai hesitantly crouched down and reached her hand out. A knot formed in her throat when she grasped his shoulder. By now she could see better and she scanned for his vitals. She let out a sigh.
"Thank god... he's breathing..." Kai whispered as she eased him onto his back. She shook him gently by the shoulder. "Kio, wake up... come on. Please wake up."

Rem shot a look at the boys telling them to keep going before she walked close enough to Kai so that she didn't have you yell or mind speak but far enough that she wasn't crowding them. "Anything broke?" Rem asked, her voice hovering between concerned and excited.

(( blaugh Kio's back!!! & To Rem:your discription of the trap works just fine with me mrgreen ))
Zaira nodded with Aergan's concerns then briefed him on their creation "Yes, I thought of that too, believe me, I thought of all the dangers and what precautions that would go into account with these guys; studying in Sotaru's lab has been quite usefull. I kind of... programmed them, like the way they twirl around, they do that on their own. If someone other than me were to tap into them they would disperse in the best way possible. Such as if it happened here, they would fly into the void, far enough away and detonate, as opposed to earth, the frost one would go into the atmosphere and create a mild winter that would last a little while, and the darkness one would just jet off into space and destroy itself in a black hole. Basically, it would take an immense knowlege of what security I put into it to be able to controll them before they disposed of themselves."
((What Zaira is trying to say is they are kinda like computers, and they have very good anti-virus. She just can't because she doesn't know about computers))
Out of the corner of her eye she saw Rem stiffen up and quickly looked around for sight of an enemy then noticed the trap getting set off "Oh drat, didn't think it would go off so soon" she then got a scared look on her face as she turned back to Rem and put her hands up in front of her "Sorry! I'll get you some rubber soles for your shoes too! I just thought I would have time, I'll get them made now!" and ran over to the wall, kicked it and ran inside the door it revealed.

Kai kept her eyes glued to Kio, waiting for any signs of consciousness or something out of place. She completely ignored the wave of electricity that suddenly hit her due to Tamnir's attack. "I don't know...."
((I had more but I fell asleep on the keyboard and forgot it. xd ))

((Im back from camp!!! which was fun!!!))
Jack turned around as Kai said something about no traps below, "but what if- Jack got hit by the eletric shock, his muscles tightened and he fell to the ground like a wood plank, "well, Zaira... your trap... ugh... works great... can't wait... till we get to uh... use it on the bad guys......"
((alright Im going to watch the new Hulk movie, and the movie WallE was great))

((A Stymphalian bird resembles a crane, but has a sharp, lance-like beak and sharp feathers that can be used as extremely fast, deadly accurate arrows. The tips are extremely sharp.

And YES. Wall-E is AWESOME. I LOVE that movie. "D-di-dire-ct-directive?" "Classified." "oh."))
Akume clambered out of the portal, followed by Kazan. Both were relatively unaffected by the electric pulse, and walked near to where Kai and Rem were.
Aergan, as well, watched Rem and Kai fuss over Kioshi. He didn't much remember him, and decided to stay where he was. He watched Zaira run off and couldn't focus on the fight, so he flapped to the stands behind where Kioshi had landed.

Jack was able to get up when the effects wore off, he noticed everyone walking over and crowding around one person, Jack walked over to join the group and noticed the man laying on the ground, he was also the first to relativly say something... "who the heck is that?!" he paused then looked at Rem "this guy isnt one of the guys trying to get you is he??"

Rem raised an eyebrow at Jack then burst into a fit of laughter as she fell backward. She landed flat on her back but it didn't seem to bother her. She recovered almost as quickly as she'd burst out laughing and turned her head to Jack. "No."

The fortress cracked, splintered, and crumbled upon itself. The ring of darkness shimmered and ripped apart, wisps going into the air and vanishing, and the ice melting into a pool of water inside the crater of the fortress.
Rick was no where to be seen, but he was slowly traveling through the ground to a certain location.
Kioshi laid there, barely waking up at Rem's laughter. He still wasn't fully conscious, but at least he was more so than before. He looked at Kai and spoke quietly with a dim smile on his face. "What did I miss?"
((Don't know why the dialog is black. But whatever; y'all know who's talking.))

Tamnir's brow furrowed slightly as he extended his senses. His left hand at the ready for anything unexpected.
Rem sat back up and let a couple of discrete green fireflies peruse Kio's form for wounds and the like. If any of her friends showed up like this and wasn't smashed pretty soundly it'd be either a miracle or a sign of the apocalypse.

Kakairo sighed and visibly relaxed. A small laugh escaped her. "Nothing, Tenshi no baka." She hugged his chest, or as much as she could with him laying on his back. "Where the hell have you been?!"

Jack was suprised how excited Kai was considering he had no idea who this guy was. "Um who is this guy?!" Jack finally said after he gave up in his mind
