~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Roughly a Week later~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Ailes is safely moved into her father's old house. it's been dusted, swept, and mopped out to both of their likings.

Ive rested her hands on her hips as she looked at all they had accomplished, "Now then... lets go take all your dad's money and get this place refurnished!"

Ailes's head spun around and stared at her mom in disbelief, "What did you just say?! We can't just steal his money!"

Ive laughed, "Sure we can. He's dead!"

Ailes fell backwards into a chair feeling as though this idea was completely immoral, "We can't just steal it..."

Ive plopped down next to her and rested her arm around her, "Sweetheart, he left it all in your name. well, you and Akuma, but she's dead now too, so you get it all."

Ailes pulled her knees into her chest and tried really hard to suppress her sobs as tears streamed from her eyes, "yeah, she is..."

Ive suddenly jumped to her feet and pulled Ailes into her arms, "I'm sorry honey! i didn't know that was still a soft spot for you!" she sighed and rested her head on Ailes, "I'm still trying to get used to being a mom... " tears began to sting the corners of her eyes, "I'm so sorry..."

Ailes looked up to see her mother crying; something she thought she would never see. she smiled and pulled her mother into a tight embrace.

they both sobbed in the middle of the living room floor for a few minutes, then Ive stood up, "Alright, enough with the mush; let's get some shopping done." She helped her daughter up and headed out into the yard, "It will take a while for the stuff to be made, so you'll just have to live with me for a while. unfortunately i have to stay at the bar so i can get my employees back on their toes. which should be just enough time for your furniture to get done."

Ailes smiled and wrapped an arm around her mother's waist, "Alright, lets go pick out some furniture."

there was a click of the lock, but no sound of an entry.

As Lord Toleranth continued to make himself at home in Ive's kitchen she strode in without a sound. She came within a few feet of him before she let her feet touch the ground with a loud click of her heels, "Well, Lord Toleranth, i'd say you look right at home in my kitchen." her lazy smile and soft eyes held a bit of danger as she took a few steps closer, "What brings you here?"

She walked over to him and placed her hands on his shoulders, "Now now, you said you needed rest," she crooned as she guided him over to the door, "Sit on a stool and i'll have your tea in a minute."

Ive smiled and set him down in a stool, and walked back around the bar to go back into the kitchen. moments later she came back with two cups of tea. one laced with rum and the other for Tolly, "Thank you for fixing my inn, it looks better than it did before." she sipped her tea feeling out of place in her own bar, "So... what do I owe you?"

Ive held her cup by the rim and stared at Toleranth with lost eyes, "You didn't have to go that far... hell, I dont even keep my inn that clean..."

Ive smiled, "Heh, seems to be the only damn thing i got going for me. and as for my reputation... nobody looks at the condition of the building, not even the masons, they judge by what's placed in front of them"

Ive raises one eyebrow to the word "lost", but didn't argue it. she set her tea down and checked to see if everything was accounted for, then turned to Toleranth and asked, "Is there anything else you might require for your stay here?"
