Kevin sighed and tightened his jaw as Maddy hugged him, restraining the impulse to attack her. "Yes.... See you in the morning." Grinning slightly, he added under his breath. "Maybe." Kevin was almost asleep as the snake was uncoiled from him. Deciding to wait and her what she was doing, he continued to feign sleep. Smiling at her words, it was his turn to wait for the soft, regular breathing that meant sleep. "Good..." He whispered. Standing up quietly, he took off his hood and looked around the room for the snake. Picking it up and placing it on his shoulders he walked softly tiptoeing towards the window when he fell with a loud clattering noise. He rubbed his lower jaw, that was what he had fallen on top of, before examining what he had fallen over. it was a shoe. "Crap." that was when he remembered, looking up at Maddy, he fervently wished he hadn't woken her up.

Maddy sighed as she rolled over. "You know what Kevin?" Maddy got up and opend the window. "All i wanted was to be your frined and to know more about you. I don't care what you are, all I wanted was a friend, your like my brother, what can I say, it was easy to cling to you. But since you dis-like me this much and you want to get away so badly. Here, get out, go." She said sternly as she moved out of the way of the window. "I could always find the boy. WICH I wont do, because unlike you, I'm a good person, and someone most people would call a friend." She was done with him now, he was an a** hole, and she finally noticed it. Maddy walked over to her bed and sat cross legged her back to him.

"My friend?" Kevin laughed emotionlessly, and sighed. "Maddy, I haven't had any friends since I was eight. I don't even remember what it's like to have friends." The snake hissed and snapped at the back of his friend and he shot one endearing glance before returning his eyes to Maddy. "Excuse me, any HUMAN friends." He took a sharp intake of air at the mention of the boy and released it almost immediately as she continued to speak. "I'm very sorry if I don't fit your definition of a 'good' person. To me and the other Hidden I'm a VERY go-" Kevin shut his mouth as he realized that he had revealed something. "Nevermind... I'll just ummmmm, go." He continued towards the window as he mentally slapped himself.

Maddy sighed. "I didn't mena you- Hidden?" Maddy rolled over and off to the floor slamming the window shut she looked up at him an eye brow raised. "You've got a big mouth.." She gigled. "It's fine. Sit back down, and just please explain HONESTLY!" She then pushed Kevin onto her bed and smiled sitting down. "Well you can't say that anymore Kevin.." She smiled lightly. "You've got a human friend or atl leadt I think your a friend.." She smiled half heartedly. 'So what's a hidden?"

Kevin rolled his eyes and put up a short, fruitless struggle for the window. Eventually he let her sit him on the bed. "Ugh... I let ONE word out and you're ready to start the interrogation again?" Sighing as he looked into her eyes, he saw that she was indeed ready for more questioning. "Erm...Well, you see..." He said, trying to take time to think of a lie that sounded correct. Shocked slightly by her use of the word friend, he whispered. "I'm a Hidden, a human that's...." He shrugged as he tried to think of the right word. "Different."

Maddy smiled. "Okay, but I already know your diffrent Kevin.." She smiled lightly. "and yes, oen word is all I need to be all over you with qustions." She smiled and leaned forward resting her head in her plam. "You didn't exactly answer my qustion, hy are you a hidden? How are you classified one?"

"You're not going to make this easy, are you?" Kevin sighed and leaned against the wall as he tried to think of a way to explain it in a way that sounded truthful. "Hidden are, ummmm, well, they're just like you... Most of them anyways. Except they can do things." Sighing again and closing his eyes, he hoped that she would understand that he just couldn't tell her outright, it was against everything he believed in.

Maddy smiled lightly, she leaned forward and playfuoly whisperd. "Not a chance.." Pulling back, a child likke grin ran along her face. She bit her lip and her brow furrowed. "DO things..." she repeated, extending and saying the word 'DO' louder then the word things. She cocked her head to the side in confusion. "Well then, other then talking to snakes, what can you do?"

Frowning slightly and leaning away, he said. "Well, erm..." He still didn't want to reveal everything, so he decided to just lie again. "Who said I could to talk to snakes... Well, other than you?" Smirking slightly, he added. "Of course, I not saying I don't I'm just saying that you an't prove it."

Maddy rolled her eye's and leaned forward kissing him lightly before quickly pulling away. "Remeber what i said earlier about you lying. About how I'd kiss you if you didn't tell me the truth. " She whisperd lightly. "We both know yo-" Oh I'm so sorry Kevin, I should have let you finished talking.." She wailed.

Kevin shuddered and pulled away from the kiss. Letting out a low hiss, he sighed. "Well... I guess it's my own fault." Shrugging and looking at the wall, he wished that surrounding himself in shadows wouldn't be such a huge give-away right now.

Maddy smiled lightly. "Yes, yes it was your fault you got kissed, wich if you acte dlike a normal human, you'd know that when a boy get's kissed normally he doesn't cringe unless he hates the girl, so work on that." She smiled lightly. "How about this, I'll help you blend in so your not so easily spotted, and you just tell me te truth.."

Kevin frowned. "I was doing just fine until you camealong,you're just... strange, that's how you found me." Then he grineed slightly. "Fine. You can teach me... And I'll tell you some stuff. We'll trade." Putting his hands behind his head, he leaned back until his back was all the way against the wall. "Tomorrow?" He asked, it seemed like a good idea to him, besides, to him, Maddy was actually starting to seem sincere.

Maddy glared at him, a small smile playing across her lips. "You know, part of me doesn't trust you to be here tomorrow. But fine.." She sighed watching the clock it hit 12. "It's tomorrow.." She smiled and rolled her eye's knowing he ment later. "Don't worry, I wont line girls up and force you to kiss them and hug them. It's my job to annoy you by doing that.." Maddy smiled and laid down her head by Kevin's legs. "So you really need to learn alot though, so i hope you have alo- Holy shadow, you sure can cast a hudge one.." she smiled. "That's....not...Normal. OH MY! Kevin you've been holding out! Shadows?"

Kevin sighed. "I'll be here tomor- Oh, haha... Very funny." He said humorlessly. Watching Maddy lay down, he laughed slightly. "I'd like to see you try..." Just as he was about to walk over to his corner, she began to talk about his shadow. "Oh, er..." Biting his lip, he quickly reshaped it so it was the proper size. Then he rolled his eyes. "Maddy, you are tired, you're seeing things." Mentally cursing himself for being so careless with his powers, he walked over to the corner and put his head on the pillow.
