"You didn't complain this much by your truck," she whispered and smiled at him. "Oh, by the way, I'll pay for truck. My brother is such a goddamned idiot sometimes...always...yeah always." She removed her hand and angrily began to scarf down her omlets. "He's just so...Urgh...b*****d...thinks he's so...errgh," she managed between angry bites.

"I would not mind that in the least," Curtis admitted. He locked his office door behind him as they headed out. He considered offering to buy her breakfast, but she did say that she wanted a bath. He would hate for her to stress about her looks rather than enjoying her meal.

He smiled at his car when they reached it. Just as he'd hoped, nothing had happened to it. It was a small car, but it had great mileage and served his purpose.

"Which way, Frauline?" He opened the door for her and then slipped into the driver's seat, finally remembering to button his shirt the rest of the way.

"There wasn't an audience by my truck," Connor snorted, and began to eat again. He noticed that some eyes were still on him and met their gazes with vicious glares. That was enough to divert their attention. For now.

"You don't have to pay for my truck. I have decent insurance and the mayor should be paying for any on-the-job damages. He's the one that hired me, after all."

"Oh, uh its just down 6th street a few blocks then a right on Kennidy and go down that street for two miles then its teh old apartment buildings on the right." She suddenly felt a little embarassed that he was now going to see how crappy the apartments were. True she had a big room but she also had no money and didn't have very much in the apartment. It was only her brothers money that kept in college. She got in his car and admired how not crappy it was compared to her old hand me down bike that she had left at the apartments yesterday.

Luka calmed down a little and left her omlets in peace. She looked back at Connor, smirked, and raised an eyebrow. "Well, if the audience is the only problem I could make them go away. Or, the better option..." she walked her fingers up his leg. "...we ditch the audience. What do you say we try your room, we've already tried mine?"

Aurora felt her hair stand on edge as some strange blonde kid with pink streaks came and sat down right next to her. There were a bunch of empty d@mned chairs! Why did he have to sit next to her? Wasn't the aura of "don't-bother-me-angriness" clear enough? She stopped eating long enough to look up and glare straight back into his face.

Breakfast was officially over. Connor stood quickly, banging his knee on the table. He swore in a shout, gaining a few more stares. This time he ignored them. Luka was more irritating by herself than everyone in this room put together!

"I'm outta here," he huffed, grabbing his tray and his knife, and then stomping towards the door. He limped a little, as his knee was still throbbing.

"Ah, I've been by there I believe," Curtis mentioned with a nod. "The grocery store is across from it, correct? There is also a little German diner not far from there. Perhaps I should take you some time. Germans make the best meals, you know."

"Well you could at least wait for me!" Luka shouted and took off after him leaving her tray behind. "For someone who doesn't like attention, you are very good at attracting it." She was having a little trouble keeping pace with him. He could be fast when he wanted to be, but Luka was not about to let him get away from her. She took the opportunity of his being ahead of her to check him out from behind.

"HEY!" Aurora had looked away at the wrong moment. As soon as she had turned to glare at the one annoying boy the kid at the other side of the table she had sympathized with decided to become more annoying. He bumped the table hard enough that it jolted her tray aside and sent her chicken sandwich plummeting to the floor.

"HEY!" She had stoody swiftly and bounded over to Connor in a flash, grabbing him by the cuff of his coat. Nevermind the other b**** who was chasing him too.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?! You b*******! Watch where you're bloody going! You knocked all my food on the floor!"

"Uh yeah, its across from the store. I've seen the place but I have never actually been in it. I don't think I have ever had authentic german food before." She looked out the window as they drove, the campus was beautiful. She glanced up at Curtis and confirmed her original thought that yes indeed, he was more beautiful than the campus.

"Some day, it will be my treat to let you experience it," he assured her. He chuckled. "Germans are rather fond of meat, but I am sure that you will finding something to your liking."

They were drawing very near to her apartment. Traffic was pleasantly slow due to it being a Saturday morning. This was fortunate, for though Curtis was enjoying his time with Katra, he was also groggy and not in the mood to deal with heavy traffic. A hot shower, larger breakfast, and long sleep sounded like heaven. True, he could have gone home last night and had all these things already, but that wouldn't have allowed him his run with Katra.

Or was it more like a date? Yes, he supposed so.

"It's charming," he told her genuinely as he pulled into the parking lot.

***

"What is it with women at this school?!" Connor demanded aloud. "Are yeh all bloody insane?!" His accent was slipping through more heavily than normal, as it sometimes did when he was flustered or angry, and in this case he was both. He looked firstly to the newcomer.

"I didn't mean to knock yer food onto the floor, but anyone would have a hard time sittin' still with her..." he indicated Luka, "tryin' to reach down yer pants!" He turned his full attention to Luka. "And YOU. Is there a label on me body that says "Property of LUKA"?!"

Yelling. She hated yelling. Why did people have to yell all the time. She had gotten more than her fair share of yelling in military school and she hated it now. She burst into tears and turned toward the other girl. "Oh he meant it all right," she spat. "He meant it, the selfish b*****d." She ran out of the cafeteria, found in alcove in a nearby wall, crouched down and cried.

Kat squirmed a little in the seat of the car. Charming was not the word she would have used to describe the old smelly apartment complex where the paint was peelling and her neighbors were everything but quiet. The complex was three stories and her room, 319, was infact on the third floor and in the farthest corner away from the street and parking lot. She just hoped that he never ever wanted to come in, she was having a hard time with money and holding a job while still doing her classes and having the problems with her transforming and her ears and tail randomly popping up to say hello. It was hard taking a bunch of classes that she was supposed to take two years ago but after her experience of being missing for 2 months, it didn't help.
Kat was starting to drift off into her own world but a simple shake of her head she was back. She definatly did not want to go reminicing about then. She leaned over to Curtis and kissed him deeply. He made the bad memories disappear and she had a warm glow after she finished giving her tounge a try about his mouth.
"Thanks for the ride and for last night." She winked at him before she opened up her door to get out.

Jeff ignored Auroras glare and went on eating his bananas and apples. He finished with his apple juice and watched her go and attack his suite mate. Jeff was having a hard time wrapping around the idea of this other were having a relationship with the hunter and now he was 100% sure he was a hunter with Luka's silver scar and the fact that he had listened in to hte whole conversastion. He figured it was probably in his best interest to leave before Connor went more insane. He was sure that Luka had is under control...or at least he hoped.
Jeff got up and quickly took his leave to the hall. He wandered on down to if anything at all interesting was happening anywhere on campus.

Yakov was a little grumpy to say the least. First, his sister had...well yeah, then he had been turned down be three different girls, then he had found blood in his sister's room. He knew that she wasn't dead or anything, but still. So, he was scowling angrily at the floor on his way towards food, which is why he did not see the person he ran into. He was about to look up and share some not nice words untill her realized that he had to look very up.

Jeff looked down at a very attractive young man. He was scowling but his face was very pretty. Jeff smiled. "Sup my friend, can I help you?"
