she timidly began to explore him, starting with his face and hair, working her way down. tears welled up in her eyes and she wimpered softly as she felt his kisses becoming more hungry, his touch more desperate. she couldn't keep it up much longer... so she closed her eyes and let herself fall deep into her mind.

she began preparing herself mentally, making sure that she could bring her body temperature back down when everything was over, but not make him freeze his balls off during.

After she was as prepared as she'd ever be she looked over his shoulder and saw her dog was pacing outside the door and sat to scratch it a couple times. she touched the floor with her nail and ice traveled under the door crack and tripped her pacing dog. he barked and backed down the hall then ran full blast at the door. It shuttered, but wouldn't open, so he looked at the crack in the door and began scratching, trying to get under it.

Her legs tensed as he slipped under her skirt, and she shuttered and wrapped her arms up around his shoulders. she heard the door crack and cringed, the dog came running in and ran at Kaiser biting his leg and trying to drag him off the couch.

Wide eyed she stared at the blood pouring from Kaiser's neck. she rose and knelt by him, her trembling fingers brushing his lips. she looked up at Auren as the tears she had been trying to hold back began to spill over, "Y-you... Killed him?"

she wrapped her arms around herself, not ready to believe how much s**t she was in. everything started to come back to her. she slowly rose to her feet and shook her head, "No... no i'm not alright..." she slowly walked out of the room, swaying, and made her way to the kitchen, where she noticed the still steaming chili she had made for Kaiser just a little while ago. she sat down in the her chair and flipped open her book.

The tears streamed down her face as she tried to read the word and choked on the tea she was trying to drink. This man had just tried to rape her, she had only knew him for three days, and yet she was crying for him?

She set her glass of tea down and looked up at him, "I knew there was something wrong with him, and i know i seem a bit shaken up, but i had just prepared to give myself away to a man i had only known for three days and then suddenly he was murdered right in front of me..."

she rubbed her hands over her face and sighed, "I found Kaiser, freezing to death, outside my door. I brought him in... He learned a bit about me... And he became my suitor..." her hands rested back on the table, but continued to tremble slightly, "Tomorrow we were going to visit a scientist who was apparently stepping outside of the agreement we made, and two days after my father is to come and meet the man you just killed..."

her gaze lifted from the book on the table to Auren's eyes, "So how am i supposed to explain... I was nearly raped by him, and you came crashing in, shoving a dagger in his neck and ending his life... If i told him that i know just what he'd say..." she slide out of her chair and walked to the kitchen sink, "Where's the hero that saved my daughter? maybe he should be the one that marries you."

Oriana laid her head on the table and closed her eyes, "That still doesn't get me out of the fact that i have to get married... Soon. Now i have maybe an extra year to get over his death and move on..." she opened her eyes and looked up at Auren, "So, If he was going insane, and going to make me crazy too... Then why was he sent here? and did he know about it? If you knew about it why didn't you tell him?" She stood up and examined at him with an odd suspecting look, "did you want him dead from the beginning?"

Oriana picked up the bowl of chili and her stomach twisted into knots. she looked at the door and whistled, dumping the chili in the dogs dish. her mutt came limping in and inhaled the chili, then flopped down by its dish panting.

Oriana set the empty bowl in the sink, "But he's dead now, and you could have just... I don't know... apprehended him?" she closed her eyes, seeing the blood flowing still. her hands began trembling again and she gripped the side of the counter and sighed, "Do you want some iced tea?" without waiting for an answer she grabbed a glass out of a cupboard and filled it placing it in the seat that was between hers and The last seat Kaiser sat in.

She walked around the table to her seat and continued to choke down her tea. she looked at the tea she had set in the seat next to hers, "Well, Kaiser told me he owed me his life... And now i guess you kind of saved me... so what do i owe the Master of the Moonlight?"

Oriana looked into her tea and rubbed the frosting glass, "I guess i was never really aware of his full potential... I knew he was an assassin, and he bragged of his skills, but..." she looked over at her sleeping dog and smiled. the dog instantly woke up and trotted over to her, resting his head on her lap, "I guess he knew... Silly mutt." she patted its head and the dog shifted over to Auren and nuzzled up to him.

She stared down at her dog that usually hates any male that comes within a few feet of her, then looked up at Auren and back at her tea, silently determining what her silly little stray mutt is trying to tell her now.

Oriana remaining silent and thinking of the man who once sat across from her. she then looked at her dog, who was kicking his leg in pleasure, and laughed.

the front door opened and closed and she leaped out of her chair and walked just out of the kitchen door, "Papa? what are you doing here?"

Her father came rushing down the hall and swooped her up in his massive arms, "Ah, My beautiful Oriana! I know you told me to wait two days, so your sister and mother are coming in two days, But i couldn't wait to see the man my daughter had waited 56 years to be with."

She chuckled and paled as she looked through the crack in the kitchen door and saw Auren. "Well.... um.. Papa... i should explain... but why don't we go up to the study.. you go and i'll be there soon, okay?"

He released her and looked into her eyes, trying to pull the information out of them, but she looked away, "Go on papa, i'll be up soon."

He gave her a somewhat stern look and walked up the stairs to her study.

She dashed into the kitchen and looked as pale as the snow around her kingdom, "That was... should have been... expected... but was completely unexpected, nor needed." her eyes locked on Auren and became slightly panicked, "Well, if you want to get out of this now... this would be the time."

She knew he would leave, but she couldn't help but pray he wouldn't. how was she going to explain that Kaiser had tried to rape her, then got slain by his boss... in her living room. she didn't know the words, but she knew it wouldn't go over well, and she sure didn't want to do it alone...
