Kuma chuckles now, tail wagging in spite of his efforts to keep it under control. The smile on Maru's face, and knowing he's planted a rather amusing image in the unicorns head helps lighten the situation a bit.
"Into the valley of dinner rode the four hundred..." He mutters back, winking, ears perking at the sound of footsteps aproaching the door. He always liked using lines like that, or paraphrasing him, although truth be told he doesn't really have the rest of the poem memorized, so he's hoping not to be asked to repeat it.

Nereus nodded. "I know what you mean, don't worry we wont utter a word." He pretended to zip his lips. He looked down at a glass of water that had magicaly been filled he grabed and took a drink. He could only tell by the voices in the other room that there where more then one. He couldn't see in there with the plant in the way. He shrugd mentaly and looked at the water as he swirled it around carfully.
After opening the door Mupiel smiled. "I must go serve the table. Close the door behind you guys and take a seat at the table." He smiled and followed Roka to the kitchen. "Mmm Elros it smells great." One thing that vNelakv taught him was to make noices when eating food. It complements the cook. Makeing no noise was like saying it sucked. He grabed the bowl of Mashed Potatoes and left the stuffing for Roka to grab. He started makeing his way back to the table.
Maru smiled and nodded. He tryed to block all pictures out of his head as he enterd the house. He looked back to Kuma to see if he was following inside. He grabed the door after Mupiel went to the kitchen. He would shut it once Kuma finished walking inside. "Too late to go back now." He spit out his tongue at the wolf.

Jamil ears twitched his orange eyes slightly flattened before lightening it wasn't their fault they intrupted Sheridan when he was talking about being a witch. So that had to mean Sheridan little petpet Cian was special to.
Cian nuzzled Mupiel neck as they answered the door before looking at Kuma and Maru with his black eyes his tail moving slightly and sending the information to Sheirdan.
Sheirdan smiled. "There are two people coming in one is a predator." He whispered head tilting winking. "Cian is go with some information but not all." He begain quite again.
(Ummm when did Sheri do a magic refill? I don't remeber that.)

Roka grinned broadly and nodded in agreement with Mupiel then carefully picked up the serving dish holding the stuffing and followed the coon out to the table.
"Thank you, Mu-chan. I'm glad you think so." Elros smiled as she accepted the compliment then turned and picked up the large platter she had set the steaks on. Carefully balancing it on her arms with her hands grasping the edge, she moved after Mupiel and Roka, measuring her steps so she wouldn't drop the plate and its contents.

Kuma grins sharply, and makes a teasing grab for Maru's extended tounge, though he doesn't actually expect to catch it between his fingers, just tease. "Yeah well if things get too bad I'll just take you hostage." He says, jokingly. "I can see it now, Stayback! Or I'll use...dun dun dunnnn The Gravy!"

Maru hurried and put his tongue in his mouth. "Na na." He teased back. He laughed. "Your such a nut." He could actually picture him holding the gravy up to his neck. He shook his head in anouther laugh closeing the door behind Kuma. "Mmm I can smell the food alrdy we made it just in time." He started to work his way to the table where everyone was gatherd. "Hopefully they wont mind beer." He teased.
Nereus smiled and contuied to rub along Jamils hand. Their hands where soft after their showers and rubing along Jamil's hand only made it feel softer. He did it lightly along the creases to see if it would tickle him. "That is very cool." He said. He wonderd if Mupiel would be alright considering he made friends with anyone he saw. He hoped his judgement was good. He sniffed the air lightly and his stomach growled. How long had it been since he ate? "That smells...soo good." He smiled already pictureing the food.
Mupiel smiled glad that Cian was still on his sholder he nudged his face along the small creature. "Hungry little guy?" He smiled bigger and walked into the room where the others where setting down the mashed potatos in the middle of the table where everyone could reach. He double counted to make sure he had enough chairs. He did. He looked back to see if Elros was makeing it and smiled at Roka as he followed not far behind. He turned around to go back to his seat.

Jamil bit his lips as Nereus ran his thumb along the slight creases. He coughed once before his foot rose and begain to run up and down Nereus leg playing with the demon. "It does smell good."
Cian nuzzled Mupiel before nodding his head, he was hungry. He also wanted to go back to Sheridan he like the coon but Sheri was his owner.
Sheridan leaned back in the chair smiling. "WOuld you like any help Mupiel?"

Roka followed Mupiel to the table then slowly walked around to the other side and carefully set down his burden. Then the bunny made his way back to Elros, checking to make sure she didn't need any help.
Elros waved Roka away with her tail and deftly set the platter down, smiling at the anthros seated around the table. "I hope everybody enjoys the food."

"If they do, than more for us." Kuma jokes, chuckling now, as he follows Maru to the table, shifting the bag in his arms which makes the bottles clink again. "Think I should ask to have this stuff put in the fridge or what?" He sniffs the air slightly, savoring the mixed smells of food. Mmm, it smelled good already....maybe this wouldn't be TOO nightmarish.

Nereus smiled holding in a slight laugh. He looked around the table as they began to set food on it. He rubed his neck with his free hand and set it back on his lap. He didn't really know what to do. It was like thanksgiving but with alittle less food. More like a family cookout. He smiled again. It was nice. "I'm sure we will Elros. It all looks deliouses."
Mupiel smiled looking at Sheridan. "No I'm fine but I think your little guy is hungry. I'm not sure what he eats so I'll give him back to you." After setting down the food he walked over to Sheridan and bend over so Cian could hope over onto the bunny. "Thank you for letting him stay on my sholder for awhile." He pet the top of the small creatures head in apreashation. "Thanks for makeing me feel better little guy." He went back over to his seat and sat down to make sure he wasn't in anyones way. Mupiel nodded as he sat down at Nereus's comment.
Maru smiled. "True." He looked around finaly entering the room where everyone was at. "I'm not sure. Probably should ask if anyone here wants some first." He swayed his hair so it wouldn't bug him on his sholders and the water droplets on his shirt where almost dry now but his hair still was wet holding the smell of the shampoo. "We can go ask Mupiel since he was the one who invited us?" He asked looking back at Kuma.

"Sounds like a plan." Kuma agrees, blinking away the faint distraction of watching water bead down Maru's hair. "Little Raccoon with the big eyes, right?"
Thats what he remembers meeting earlier, but in the name of a glorious family history of to social faux pas, he'd rather avoid that one if he can. Save the distressed looks for something dramatic, like putting your feet on the coffee table and such.

Sheridan smiled. "It was my pleasure to help you." He rubbed Cian head as the bunny nuzzled him pleased to be back where he belonged. "If you have a salad I can get him set."
"This remind me off the last time I had a thanksgiving dinner. I'm going to have to invite you over sometime Nere to try some of Akash's cooking." Jamil smiled setting his foot back on the floor. "Though I think Elros might just have him beat."

Roka giggled and batted at Elros' tail but he got the hint and went to sit down next to Mupiel.
"Does it really? I hope you think it tastes as good as it looks, Nereus." Elros smiled at the demon then switched her attention to Jamil, holding up her hands. "Try the food before you say things like that." Flushing slightly she moved next to Sheridan and tapped his petpetless shoulder. "Does Cian like anything particular in his salad or would lettuce, carrot, celery and cucumber be alright?"
