((*raises hand* Me, me! Cop dude!

Haha, they're there for a reason, though. (In Rps I've done that don't have any, it leaves it open for rather unfortunate mistakes - like, oh, say attacking somebody somewhere where they aren't.) But I know they're aggravating. In fact, you guys have it lucky. I'm doing a fantasy Rp at the moment that had all the characters in the same god-forsaken place, putting ~Garden of Ragnarok~ in front of their posts for some ten pages. >.< Now THAT was bad...))

Cop people dudes: ~Some alley~

"Wait! Freeze!" One man fired off a warning shot at the ground nearby, adrenalice lacing his movements. "We just need to ask you some questions!"

Nobody disagreed with the action taken. This guy seemed to have everything to do with the car crash, the fire hydrant explosion, and several other catastrophes that had upset the public. And he was even acting guilty. The supervisors would be infuriated if he was allowed to escape arrest.

Someone shouted in hoarse realization, sighting the jacket insignia: "He's FM! He's FM!"

Deirdre: ~Slums, Misdred Street, Outside of Warehouse~

Though the thug's arrogance annoyed her - she hated people preying on those they weaker - she also realized that: 1) Her Celestial abilities had definitely been used up for the day, and 2) Even if they weren't totally, it was not in the best interests to attract unwonted attention. So she followed the strange, slightly hump-backed woman, motioning to Korin to do the same.

Even if she wasn't going to pound them today, however, she wanted to make sure this wasn't a situation possessing any unfortunate injustice. What good was her lot in life if she didn't use it to help others, occassionally? And if this woman needed any help...

"Thank you for that, back there," said Deirdre, catching up to her. "Did you know them? Do they give you trouble, often?"

Duncan: ~Screwed~

"We just need to ask you some questions!"

I bet

"He's FM! He's FM!"

Well....s**t....

"Join FM", they said, "See the world!", they said.

Course now I'm scrwed. Bloody HQ backup...

I put my hands in the air as I slowly pulled myself up from my...submissive horizontal position...

...there's really not many things you can say to a cop to have them go easy on you once they've figured out you'er working for the lovely Freedom Movement...

Oh yeah, we had guys inside the force...it was just that they were not THESE particular guys.

I also thought that me insisting on them going after the runaway Celestial wasn't gonna do much good...

Plan B: Out on bail.

Luca: ~Rennard Apartment Complex~

"Fine fine. Check her pulse. Check her breathing. We've been standing out here for so long I can only assume Rigor Mortis already set in. Have you ever seen a young beautiful woman die officer?"

My thoughts raced back to the one only person I had loved...

Luca's tone suddenly changed

"Go ahead. Call for help too. No use having her die like that. I'll be inside. Knock when you come back. You like tea? I can make some tea...."

Sammuel ~Rennard Apartment Complex~

"No," he said firmly. "Just stay put."

Sammuel left the door to Luca's apartment open because the girl's was just across the hall and if he was quick about it Luca would only be out of his sight for a second or two. That would give Sam the chance to run after him if he took off in that second.

Sammuel glanced back at Luca as he pushed the apartment door the rest of the way open. Then he saw what was inside. "s**t," he breathed. There was a hole through her head and the nail stuck out of the opposite wall. She was dead, probably instantly. On his left side, out of Luca's sight for the moment, Sammuel hit a button or two on his phone. Hiram, where are you? he wondered. Hiram's phone should beep.

((Gonna wait for Thessally's reaction before Duncan gets taken into custody.))

Hiram: ~Outside Magazine Shop, Westcheston Street~

He sighed with relief as his phone beeped. Quickly, he whipped it out and placed it to his ear. Only one person could be from that number. "Samuel!" He barked, not wasting time on warm welcomes or anything of the sort: "The damn Celestials are everywhere! The car's a wreck and a member of FM got away."

Luca: ~Rennard Apartment Complex...looking confused~

"No, just stay put."

First he wants me to start moving the piece of metal by myself. Now he wants me to stay put.

Make up your mind buddy...

Then I heard a faint whisper

"s**t"

Alright! Score one for Luca...wait...Aw hell...

I noticed the guy fiddling with something...

Well...I'm staying put....putty put put...boredy put...

Ooooo...birdy bird outside the window...that I broke...oh right...

Thessaly
Watching a live and interactive version of the show Cops...at the same alley.

He calmly watched the cops raise their weapons with their arms parallel to ground. They seemed steady, but were shaking like bridges in a windy day. He was glad that the taxes he paid was working well since the shot fired could have actually hit the man inside. The guy probably was a rookie since no one really fires warning shots, but who wouldnt' be scared when the one in the alley could be the one who caused all of today's mayhem.

Soon the cavalry arrived as more of the plated blue coats made a perimeter around the scene just in case anyone actually tries to help the FMer, or the FreMo trapped in the alley. A few in the crowd began to boo or shout a few obscenities at them, these rowdy bunch being the younger generation who knew little of the past. But the hecklng from the older and more conservative generations were against the FreMo. They were being labeled as being a bunch of anarchists, which was partly true since they don't have a lot of mediums to express and voice out their message. Violence attracts the media.

"Take'em all FreMo'ers down!" An old man wearing very noticeable pin striped blue power suit raised his briefcase up in the air. "They're nothin' but trouble you hear me!"

"Yeah... take... take them all down like he said," shouted the most unexpected of all people to say it, "I'm just a hardworking man, trying to make a living, make love not war!"

A few in the crowd gave a slight chuckle at the cliche phrase uttered by the tall man in blue work clothes. Heads of course turned to him, giving him a chance to maybe change the situation.

"C'mon everybody, follow with me," X shouted as he looked over the crowd raising his arms up in the air and began chanting while he swayed, "Make love, not war, make love, not war, make love, not war..."

Sammuel backed out of the room and into the hallway. He turned to see if Luca was still there. Luca looked distracted so he came closer. "Here, there are still a few pieces stuck to you," he said and started wiggling one loose. "Now, tell me how you got all this on you. Hey, are you listening?"

I'm not entirely sure what to post yet. So I'll just let the RP continue for a bit longer, or wait for a cop to chase me or something.>

Korin
~Lower Level Slums, Mitryliss Ave.~

Korin noticed the woman fiddling with things in her pockets, her eyes darting back and forth.
Would this be normal behavior for someone from the slums? Feeling guilty when they've done nothing wrong!?
The woman's eyes darted again.
"Nothing? Nevermind?"she repeated Korin. "Well, then I... nothing, nevermind too."
Korin looked at her, trying to register what she was trying to say, but then the woman began to run. Korin stared and then saw Deirdre run past her, grabbing at her arm. As they ran, Korin noticed something strange about the woman. She didn't run like she was disabled or injured.
This is too strange! What did I get myself into!?
Korin glanced over at Deirdre.
Doesn't she notice anything... strange!?
They stopped, and Korin tried to examine the woman closer while Deirdre asked her if she was alright.
She joined in. "We can take care of them for you, if need be." her voice was distant. She was distracted.

[[Oh hey, markers, forgot about those. xD They're so foreign to me, lol
Speaking of which-- I am going to Mexico Sunday o_O;;; Hea. So yes, my character will be out of play until next Saturday. I am going to leave you Lelio and Bloom two options here-- you can either fight these thugs and then go after me and then wait for me to return to post. Or, you can fight these thugs and not go after me and post merrily. In that case I will find another way for my character to find it's way to you people again. x3
Sorry about this suddenly, it's sort of complicated. e.e;; I hope you two understand.]]

Sal: Lower Level Slums, Mitryliss Ave.

"Thank you for that, back there." said the woman. "Did you know them? Do they give you trouble, often?"
"No, they don't." I murmured. I slowed my full out sprint, which wasn't much to begin with, to a very quick walk. "They're... just... I mean--"
A mumbled voice from the original woman came to my ears. "We can take care of them for you, if need be."
I stopped with a jolt and clenched a fist at my side, the other hand how ever typed numbers in the air as if an invisible keypad was there.
... eight, nine, ten. Yes, that's enough, it'll be fine.
... three, four, five. Should have grabbed more.
I couldn't exactly look over my shoulder, so instead I turned slightly at the woman who stated the last comment.
"Don't touch them." I narrowed my golden eyes at her. "Don't you dare. Just, don't. They didn't do anything."
I stopped counting for a moment with my hand, only to point down the street forcefully.
I then looked behind us, the two men were straggling, but soon would catch up.
"THAT WAY!" I was shocked at my own voice, was I angry? No, don't be Sal hun, it's not their fault. "Follow it, and you should get out of here fine. They won't follow you that far."
I shoved my hands back into their respected pockets and accidentally pushed out a roll of gauze. I quickly snatched it up from the ground-- it won't be sanitary anymore. Oh well, it's not like my pockets are any better.
Placing it back where it belonged I tightened my coat around myself, and hurried down the opposite of the street I had directed them to.
I best be getting home, it's getting late.

Thugs: Lower Level Slums, Miteryliss Ave.

"Over there!" One of the two men pointed at the now only two woman; he was skinny but quite tall and his clothes that weren't meant to fit him hung loosely giving the effect of twigs holding up the pieces of cloth. "The hag that scared off Marc is gone though."
The other man nodded and gave a sneering grin as a glossy eye glistened. "Doesn't matter. We can have fun anyways."
The distraction of having the mysterious hag run off allowed the men to hurry to them; less then three feet was put between them before one of the women caught eye of the greasy beings.

[[All right, take the thugs. They're obviously NPC's, so play with them as you wish. x3 Draw out the fight perhaps if you wish to chase after me? It's going to be a whole week before I can respond-- if I respond sooner it's because I got ahold of Internet access while down there. e.e;;]]

Sal: Lower Level Slums, near part of the city's dome's base

I was quick, and left without looking back. You did your part Sal, they'll be fine. It's all right, just get home for now.
I nodded and smiled as I hurried along the familiar streets-- my small feet left taps dangling in the air and made heads look up curiously from their fires or make-shift homes. Others just ignored it.
My wings were heavy, so I had to slouch a bit more to keep from falling over from the fast walking pace. My hands nestled within the coat.
Hurry, hurry Sal. Get, get Sal. Scat, scat Sal.
I giggled.
People started to dwindle, less and less as I grew closer to my home. It's all right though, it means I'm going the right way.
These alley ways use to be so full of life, not really healthy life, but people non-the less. Now, they're so empty, and I'm not sure why.
I stopped for a moment and stared upwards, the dome was beautiful, I was so close to it's strong holds. It was comforting to know they were there.
I turned down an alley way that had been deserted ever since, Jove... At the end of the alley way was the wooden door that I opened and allowed me into my box of the city. It was small, 800 sq-ft at the most. Sheets dangled from the ceiling to create mock-walls, dozens of sheets, dozens of walls, a mini-maze.
It would be so simple to just walk right through all the sheets, but only I could navigate all the turns. It was fun.
I turned here, there, nope-- don't go that way, it's an end. Go this way, yep, there we go.
At the end of the maze I was left in the far right corner of the room, where my small cot was.
With no windows in my home I resorted to four coffee cans with wood and swiped oil. I lit them.
I then unloaded my pockets to underneath my cot, I counted everything twice more. Placing all of the items in together with their own kind, and then making sure a hand width apart separated them from the other piles.
After I was satisfied, I slipped off my coat and let it drop to the ground.
They hurt, so cramped up. It doesn't matter though, I bet they don't even work... anymore.
I stretched, expanding them as far as they would go within the cramped room. Some feathers swayed in the air and twirled to the ground as they detached from me.
My clothes udnerneath, are humble of course. Simple sweat pants and a torn up t-shirt of some brand of drink I've never tasted before. I stepped out of my very thin and flat shoes as I laid down on my cot. I was so tired, I ignored the feathers and had laid down on my stomach.
I reached over lazily and took my coat, which I then draped over my waist. It was comfortable this way, much better than enclosed and folded neatly.
I slept.

Parafli ~Lower level slums, Mitryllis Avenue~

Hopping from building to building, he had eventually arrived near the little attack going on. He had watched most of the things unfold, trying to hold back from getting involved. But as the woman was raised into the air by her throat, he sighed and shook his head. Thugs like these gave people like Parafli a bad name. Granted, he gave HIMSELF a bad name... but because of these idiots, everyone thought he just killed for fun. In reality, he killed to whipe out the two groups who took advantage of celestials. Once AGSA and Chrest were gone, he'd take out the Isis members who hated Celestials with a passion... so, about 50% of them.

But for now, these fools definately had to go.

Playing hero... not something I'm very accustomed to...

He had used most his energy for the day, but he generally didn't acknowledge that. Thinking too much of himself, he assumed he had enough wind energy left and jumped off the side. He was able to slow himself down enough to not obtain any serious injuries but... he still crashed to the ground.

"Dammit!"

He yelled in aggrivation, rising slowly as he rubbed his forehead in pain. Stumbling towards the group, he nodded vaguely at the woman who's face seemed to be turning blue from lack of oxygen . As a couple thugs moved towards him, Parafli reached into his pocket and pulled out his dagger. His third, and final weapon. Though now he only had two, that is until he replaced the switchblade he gave to Duncan earlier in the day.

Though he had used up the majority of his wind powers for the day, he didn't doubt that he had more skill with a blade then a few untrained morons had. Waving it infront of his face, he eyed the two advancing on him. He knew he would ultimately have to take them out, but first things first... the woman was still choking.

As he moved swiftly towards her in a zig zag motion, he suddenly froze in spot. As did the thugs. The one who had been choking her fell back in pain, his arm singed. Raising an eyebrow, Parafli chuckled.

A celestial?

Shaking his head as he continued to laugh, he wouldn't have gotten involved if he had bothered to use his sensory skills to check her power. But whatever. It was too late to run away now.

Bringing his dagger to his chest, he spun around and promptly gutted one of the stunned thugs. As the man fell in a heap, clutching his chest, Parafli smirked at the others. Twirling his blade between his right hand's fingers, he beckoned them forward with one hand.

"Let's go, fools..."

(( Whee! And another character joins the excitement... whee
I think it's a good idea to add more thugs. Let's say the two you just whomped and four others?))
Thugs
~Lower level slums, Mitryllis Avenue~

"What the f*ck!?" Grizt fell to the ground clutching his arm.
A moment later, so did Rod, his crimson insides leaving his body with a sickening "plop".
One of the four others (who had ran up later) advanced on Parafli. "Who the hell do you think you are, kid? These wimmin are ours, back out."

Korin
~Lower Level Slums, Mitryills Ave.~

Korin collapsed in the dirt and clutched her bruised throat. She moaned and tried to smooth out her crushed pipes with her fingers. She swallowed.
From where she lay, she could hazily see the young man who had attacked the thugs. She coughed and shakily tried to raise her self back on two legs. She succeeded, and stood swaying, waiting for her blurred vision to clear.
I hope he has good intentions... she thought in a fit of panic.
She regained her vision in full and walked over to the thug that had had her by the throat. She kicked his face.
She then turned to the young man who had saved her. "Thanks, Mate." she said softly. Her throat still ached. "I appreciate the help."
She felt the power she had been gathering earlier swell to a maximum, and she sent it into her hands. She commenced to lunge forward and shove her hands clear through the nearest thug's chest. The burning light cauterized the wound as she made it. He fell to the ground silent, leaving no trace of his injury on Korin.
She smiled, and then fell to her knees.
Bad move to use for the first... she thought. Especially after I used that huge spell earlier...

She began to stand again, but quickly froze.
What did I just do!? I let him see my magic, he knows! He knows I'm Celestial...
She used what little Celestial magic she had left to analyze his abilities.
He's a Celestial as well. Guess I'm lucky. She smiled, and stood beside him in a defensive stance.
"Hope you're on our side, friend..."

((Got grounded to my room for a day, and then lost Internet connection. >.<))

Cop dude people: ~Alley~

"Make love, not war, make love, not war, make love, not war..."

In confusion, they turned towards this new man on the scene. "What the hell..." began one cop. "Take him down for inciting a riot!" cried another. "He's telling us not to riot, though..."

Another cop, one who'd had an unfortunate run-in with FM before, fired a mis-directed shot at the strange swaying man. His superior barked at him for ignoring orders, or rather, shooting without an express order, but he just scowled and began to take careful aim again.

"Cripes, don't you recongize him? It's X! X!"

The infamous name managed to take attention off Duncan. Some of the more tactical cops could see they'd already lost, however. The man was too far away to make an arrest before he escaped, and now Duncan was sure to escape, having the best distraction possible. But the few never could out-vote the massive many.

Deirdre: ~Lower Level Slums, Mitryills Ave.~

Coughing and spluttering as she was released, she felt her aching throat absently while her knees seemed literally glued to the ground by the overwhelming force of gravity. Her blurring mind tried to take account of everything that was happening. They'd just been, fortunately, rescued by another Celestial.

"Korin." Seeing the need to stand as the idiotic thugs repositioned themselves for a counter attack, she swayed a bit but managed to stay upright. "You should know I'm useless at the moment. It took a lot of my energy to seer earlier that Sazuko has died. I think it was another Celestial..." Unwittingly, her voice cracked. She hated death, absolutely loathed it.

"So," She turned towards the male newcomer, "Have you ever heard of Isis? We can use guys like...oh, okay."

The thugs were charging again, so in the nature of survival she took a wise step back.

Hiram: ~Outside Magazine Shop, Westcheston Street~

"Do you remember that guy that knocked over when the fire hydrant exploded?" Hiram wasn't sure if Samuel had even seen, considering he'd taken rather quickly after the other female Celestial. "Well, anyway, there was this guy, and he had an FM insignia on his jacket. I was taking him into custody for question in the car, when a Celestial randomly attacked. I think it must be one of those that work with FM, because he took the guy out of the car." Stopping for breath, he rubbed his forehead. "And at some point, one of the Celestials we met today blinded me. They're over-populating the city like rats now.

"Speaking of which, did you catch your girl?"

I'm in a strange bind myself, but I can come find you if you really need me to. How would you like to meet a strange man named Luca?" As soon as he could walk without clanging, that is.
