(s**t! Sorry bout that, lol.)
Joe opened the bridge door and approached the captain, stopping at attention and saluting him, "Sir, I have brought one of the people from the retrans station for briefing. The other two are down in MedBay,."
"Very well," Kirk said to Jones, returning the salute and looked over at Aimee, "Well, it's nice to see a new face around here," Kirk said.

Kirk looked Aimee over a moment, then returned her salute.
"Ah. Smith, you've outdone yourself. You actually found someone with respect for a higher rank. Besides yourself and a few otehrs, of course," Kirk said.
"Thank you sir," Joe said, snapping to attention when he spoke, and returning to At Ease when he had finished.
"I also noticed your uniform is Tattered, wrinkled and torn, Sergeant," Kirk replied as he contin ued looking ehr uniform over.

"Nonsense!" Kirk shouted in an energetic tone, "To me, a uniform tells me everything I need to know about e person before I even salute them. A cean, neatly pressed BDU or ACU means the person is a slacker and depends on other people, at least that's been the case in my experience. But you," Kirk said, looking her over once more, "torn and filthy uniform, messed up hair, dirty face and hands. I can tell already, you ain't no girly girl. You like to get down and dirty. You're not afraid to crawl in the mud, take charge of a mission, or let men psh you around," Kirk said, laughing at the last remark he said, "Welcome aboard the USS Harry S. Truman, Aimee. Here, we are possibly the only floating survivors in the Atlantic, possibly the world. Every other ship we've run across has either been zombified or abandoned. The only time we encountered humans on another vessel was when we saw panic and disorder as the zombies slowly took over the ship," Kirk said, pausing in a moment of silence, "Here on the bridgte, we have radio operators going to every frequency, both civilian and military, nonstop, 24/7. Now, from what I hear and the brief bit you've told me, you know a little something about radios?"

"Well, that is very impressive sounding, Aimee," Kirk said, "Too bad, as of right now, it all means Jack s**t. I'm assigning you to Joe's squad. Where he goes, you go. You'll learn the way of life abord this vessel quickly. Joe will take you down to the armory to drop off the supplies you brought aboard in case we, or you, need it later for a mission," Kirk said, letting this all sink in, "Welcome to the ship, Aimee," Kirk said, saluting her and turning to Joe, "Joe, take her to the armory and have ehr drop her stuff off, and then get tactical. There are supplies aboard that Red Cross ship, and we're going to get them. And, in the process, We will kill any zombie that gets in our way. Then you know what to do."
"Yes, sir!" Joe said, saluting the captain, who returned it, "Aimee, let's go. The sooner we get those med supplies teh sooner we can get back."
