Asgard didn't "feel" anything, much less "the bad", but he decided denying it would only frighten the little one further, so he simply nodded. "Giggly ghosts?" he questioned, though, not sure what she meant by that. He kept looking toward the trees to try to see anything, but he finally gave up after a few moments and turned his head to look back down at Kanika to make sure she was okay.
"Yeah, I guess they could be called scanners," Perhonen admitted. It made sense in a way. He shook his head in response to the little one's question, though. "I don't know 'bout that. I've had 'em as long as I can remember."

Razuku giggled as she watched the black antennae waggle back and forth when the butterfly wini shook his head. Her expression grew perplexed at Perhonen's reply. He didn't tell her how to get some antennae for her own, but then he didn't actually say she 'couldn't' get some.
Tilting her head in thought, she spotted a green frosted cupcake sitting in front of the black and white demon. Oooh, she thought, she hadn't had a green one yet.

"Hey, that's not yours, is it?!" Not bothering to wait for an answer, Razuku reached out a multi-colored icing-covered paw and scooped up the green frosted cupcake.

"Sorry, Shade," said Shroom. "I thought the glass was stronger." Turning her attention to Erudite, the mini demon added, "Sometimes she holds the glass a little too hard and it cracks." Shroom saw that neither of the other two demons were paying much attention to her. Erudite was gathering the glass pieces and Shade seemed to be mesmerized by his actions. "I'll go get that bowl."
Dream Shade watched the colorful demon gather the broken pieces of glass. Sitting on her haunches, front hooves tucked to her chest, she was too surprised to move. Shattered glass, and other fragile things breaking, were a normal occurrence for the red and black demon. She didn't consider herself clumsy, things just seemed to break apart around her.
But.. having someone she'd just met, care about whether she hurt herself was a totally new experience. Her friend, Shroom was concerned about her safety, but the mini demon just handled Shroom's accidents like they were no big deal. Shade watched Erudite with amazement as he made a fuss of making sure she didn't hurt her hooves.

Kanika peeked one last time, and, satisfied that she was quite safe, looked up at Asgard and grinned."Yeah I think it was a ghost. No wait it was a monser! He was gonna uhh... eat me!" she giggled, editing her story on the go. Now fully over the brief scare and hyped up from her experience and cupcake frosting, the little demon did a sort of victory dance in the grass.
"You saved my life Asgar! You scared the bad thing away!" This declaration lead to more prancing and cavorting around her new giant hero, then she ran off in the direction of her lounging parents.
"Moooom! Daaaad! I saw a moooonser! Asgar saaved me!" her voice could be heard fading into the crowd as she ran to tell her story that was already growing to an epic novel with every new idea added to it.

Startled by the sudden shift in mood, Asgard stumbled momentarily as he kept lifting one foot then another to make sure he could tell exactly where Kanika was, stumbling in a circle twice before she abruptly darted away. He watched her go then cast a confused and disoriented glance to the cream-colored female who had joined them. "...younglings: confusing," he declared.
Perhonen couldn't help a small grin when the little one inhaled yet another cupcake, thankful she wasn't his. She was going to be a handful - several handfuls, most likely. Oh, no - he didn't envy her parents one bit.

Algae's tail twitched at the mentioning of busybody winikos. All this mingling was more tedious than that horrid show "Deal or no Deal." He was an avid game show watcher when he preyed on humans and needed down time. Taking a scoop he tossed them back as he lay down on the cool grass. Noticing Tatsu's face he asked, "Do you like massacres?" Cambion rolled up and spread his legs and patted his stomach assuredly. He had assumed the dying swan pose. Such a gorgeous spread. He plopped some marshmallows in his mouth to their perilous deaths followed by melting hot chocolate. BURN, MY WHITE CHILDREN. Awesome party this was.

Day was enjoying watching as the demons were slowly devouring the excess food she had brought. Good! She wouldn't need to take anything back to the madhouse she was apparently supposed to live in. She chuckled slightly at the thought. She shook herself out and glanced around. It was late, even though the sun hadn't technically set. But the inbetween was like that. She did pack up her goodies, Sky tying the blanket she was laying on into a sack. The flowers and things she'd brought... well, she was sure that the demons would have fun figuring out what they did when they got into those bags. She was just going to make her exit quietly. Soon enough the other winis would finish the food and leave when it was gone. But at least they would all be leaving here not just with the little goodie bags, but now new allies to torment humans with.
All in all? This party was a success. But like all good things, it was time for it to come to an end.

Feel the bad? Honestly, she hadn't felt anything; Samantha was only responding to the youngster's frightened shout...but then again, she had been a distance away from the pair before joining them here. Before she could respond, however, the pair were exchanging words again...and the little one was off like a shot.
So, instead, she merely smiled at the mystical-looking glowing Elder and chuckled. "Indeed, they certainly can be." This must have been the 'Asgar' the child was calling for, right? She'd witnessed enough to see him step to the child's defense and that was enough to make a good first impression on her. "I'm Samantha," she offered for politeness sake, a little of her kindness replaced by a sort of distraction as she sat and stared curiously at the forest's edge. Was there something there? And if so...was it malicious?

Oh, well, Calypso liked flattery; that much was certain. The fact that it was being delivered in such a beautiful, rhythmic way simply added to the deliciousness of his words.

She switched modes abruptly, before a seductive temptress, now a blushing schoolgirl. "Oh, my...you flatter me so, Mr. Haiku! Your words are enough to make a poor girl red with embarrassment!" She fluttered her eyelashes at the koi, weaving her spell of enchantment around the poor male. "Well, I suppose I could forgive your following me. Least I could do for one so sweet...and handsome," she winked.
