xXCrystalTearXx Okay, so both of the applicants PMed back today, and here is their responses.
Ouro said she needs to know the exact dates of the ball before she can commit, since she doesn't want to let us down by not being there half the time.
Roses has been busy with school, and she likely won't be able to do much until February, but she's still interested.
And I agree with Chibi! We want to include you as much as possible, Moo! If possible. =D Wow! You're so cool being able to get responses like that! xd Hopefully we can set the date soon. I might be in China for a couple weeks this summer, and I have no idea when that will be if I do get to go at all, so I'm not sure about my part in the scheduling. I just hope they don't co-inside.

Yeah, it was a little unexpected, but cool? Hardly; it was more like luck, maybe. XD And I hope the scheduling works out, too. I'm probably going to be camping somewhere around the beginning of summertime, so I'm not sure how that'll work out, either. I don't think it should clash, though.

Spottedteddybears Yes! merry christmas to you too! (if anyone else stalks wrath, you'll see that I officially stalk sloth! XD) Edit- try not to go to china in summer... its HAWT!!! (not in the god way either... XD) (at least the south is, th north, not sure...) My best friend si nce the 4th grade is a Chinese immigrant. His family is from Beijing, and they always go every summer for a couple weeks to visit relatives. I don't know why, but his mom invited me to go with them this year. I love travel, so I'm excited about that part. I've already been warned about the smell, and I'm also a bit concerned with the food. I like American Chinese food, but I learned that I don't like real Chinese food after I went with a friend of mine from Hong Kong to Chinatown. sweatdrop

I recruited my friend who did my avi/game art for the last ball to help out in here since our numbers are still kind of low. She's not sure whether she can RP with us or not, but she has agreed to lend her talents to an art auction. I know we haven't decided on how to go with room art, but she has also volunteered to do that if everyone wants her to.
So, that brings up a major question that we need to address: How are we going to handle art for the room?
IDEAS
- Same artist for EVERYTHING (sig art, room art, game art, etc)
- Same artist for room/game art, but everyone gets their own avi art
- Same room art and avi art, but everyone gets their own game art
- Same artist for avi art for the character profiles, but individual art for sigs?
- No coordination? (I'm not really too fond of this one, but I had to include it.)

That sounds awesome, Chibi! I don't usually go anywhere...ever. But I always go camping. Lots and lots of camping. =D
Oh, but real Chinese food is good! It just depends on where you go, aha.
And hmm, that is a good question. It really doesn't matter to me,but I would prefer at least a little variety in art style, so I wouldn't go with the same artist for everything. That might also just be too much on one artist. That's just my opinion, though.

I see your point. I know of several great artists if you need to recruit more. We just need to decide how to divide the art. Of course, we need to have the same person do all of the room post styles, but everything else is up in the air. Btw, Crystal, if you see a pending request for GalateasFire, could you please accept it? I haven't been promoted or anything, so I can't take care of it. Here was the other person I had in mind to add to the art pool. I haven't asked her yet (girl with a guy avi), but she's a friend of mine, so she might help.
