Onyx inwardly groaned, a reading break...? Suuuure, why not, he LOVED to read! Yeah right, this was not going according to plan but oh well, faking it more wasn't a bad thing, he just hoped Vincent didn't say anything, Vincent had been trying to teach him to read for months and months but he just couldn't seem to pick it up or he didn't want to for some reason but either way he still couldn't read and he wasn't going to admit that now so hopefully Vincent would keep his mouth shut."Sure, reading break sounds great!" He lied, smiling a tad nervously at her before laying down on a clean part of the floor, Shakespeare having finally popped his head out of Vincent's bag tiredly, he was meant to come with him earlier but Onyx didn't have the heart to wake him but it seems Vincent did "hi, Shakes" he said as the little guardian jumped out of the bag and trotted over to him, climbing up onto his back and then his head and laid there, having this spot as one of his favourite places to be.

Taking the book the female mentioned he nodded "it does look good" he lied as he looked up at his guardian who was now looking down directly into his eyes at him questionably and looked back between Onyx and the female a couple of times before fixing his eyes on Onyx, knowing that his Kitsu didn't know how to read and he Onyx just shook his head a little as if to say 'she doesn't know so don't say anything' and the guardian took the hint and just laid there, staying quiet "anyhow I should introduce you" he said to the guardian on his head "Makoto, meet Shakespeare, Shakespeare, Makoto."

Shakes smiled and nodded hello to her before Onyx spoke up "not mine, hes good but it's his" he siad gesturing up to the guardian on his head "as soon as he hatched he went exploring around Vincents house and we ended up seeing him in the library a book of sonnets in his hand and Vincent decided to give him the name Shakespeare, needless to say the name stuck and I didn't have the heart to change it."

Vincent looked up from the book he was reading and scratched Makoto behind the ears a little before returning to his book.

Shakes jumped down and walked over to the books on the floor, looking through them all he found a book of Great Expectations and pulled it out carefully and placed it on the floor, laying down to read it.

Onyx sighed, he felt so left out, how was it that his guardian, a puffball that hatched and seemed instnatly drawn to books and Vincent had taught him and he picked it up quickly but he did not so he was the only one in this group who couldn't read so he had to fake it and that, to him, was boring so he got up and stretched "excuse me, I am just going to go outside, I feel like some fresh air" he said as he turned to leave, deciding to leave his guardian friend there, he was safe with the others.

It wasn't the windows or anything he just wanted to be out of the house with all those books, it wasn't that it was bad it was just that whilst he was fine with the lie about being able to read just sitting there for a long time pretending would drive him up the wall so fresh air it was.

Shakes looked to the other kitsu and shrugged, yes he had a fair idea what was wrong but he wasn't about to say anything, he didn't want to and besides this was Onyx's lie so he had to sort it out himself.

Vincent looked over at the guardian "where has he gone?" He asked curiously.

"I don't know, outside for fresh air apparently" Shakespeare said, not sure what else to tell the human.

Vincent looked at the female and gestured towards the door "you can go after him if you want" he said, letting her know it was fine to go if she wanted, all he would be doing is reading anyway.

Onyx looked up and nodded at the other, smiling a little "yeah, I'm fine I guess i am just a little tired thats all" he said, half lying, he was tired but it was for two things, the fact he just wanted to sleep but also this lying thing was actually more trouble and work then he first realised but he had started it so he might as well see it through "thank you for worrying about me though" he said as he lent over and nuzzled her a little.

It wasn't that he was tired of her or the work they had before then but he just hadn't slept well the night before that it was catching up to him "it's fine, really, I just didn't sleep well last night, I can last a little longer" he said smiling at her "besides, the sooner we get your house fixed up to its old original self the sooner we can start putting your books into proper shelves so they don't get ruined." Onyx said, stretching one last time before gesturing to go back inside "come, lets go back inside" he said as he started towards the door "oh and by the way" he said, turning back to look at her, smiling softly "your'e cute when you blush" he said winking at her and carrying on inside.

((Thats cool, maybe I can do something to unshoot it...and yes, I know that doesn't make sense since technically you can't but hey, this is the world of anime, bull s**t like this can happen! XD))

As they reached the room where Vincent was Onyx walked over to his guardian and nuzzled him "you have work to do, sorry for pulling you away but we need to help her get this place fixed up to how she wants it and without your help to interpret for us" he said as he the guardian sighed and got up "alright, I just wish to be allowed to carry on reading afterwards "he said as Onyx nodded "of course, you will have deserved it" he said as he gestured over to Vincent "go talk to him for us please?" He asked the guardian who nodded and walked over and climbed up onto Vincent, took hold of the top of the book and peeked over it. "Hi,. we need to get to work if thats not too much to ask" he said to Vincent who looked up and blinked "er...sure" he said as he picked up the guardian and placed him on his shoulder to sit as he put the book down and looked at the other two, taking a laptop from his bag and placed it on top of a pile of books and turned it on "so, where shall we begin?" He asked, looking at the two kitsus.

"He wants to know where we will begin" Shakespeare said to the Kitsu's who were waiting for them.

"Well...that is up to her" Onyx said looking at Makoto "I guess he will need to take more photos but that is a fairly easy job so if we get all the details out of the way first and then let him take photos we can get this done and then he can start making calls" he said as he looked to his guardian "whatever she says I want you to tell Vincent alright? It will be easier just having you relay what she said instead of going through me" he said as his Guardian nodded.

Shakes just sits there relaying what the female kitsu was saying as Vincent wrote it down into his laptop.

"Alright then" Onyx said as he got up "shall we move to the next room? And also, whether you like it or not, you will be getting one room with a bed at least" Onyx said as he nodded to his guardian to let Vincent know "no, don't try to change my mind, you are going to get one room as your bedroom whether you like it or not" he said as he walked out of the room and waited in the hallway for the others.

Shakes spoke down to Vincent, telling him what Onyx said and let Vincent put it into his computer before telling him that they were moving on which had Vincent close it and get up to meet up with Onyx in the hallway.
