Mirac smirked as the table hit the pudding with a thick 'splat'. He stepped nimbly around overturned tables and chairs. "I was wondering where those foul creatures were coming from. Is it also responsible for that wretched stink that's been polluting the air?" The chain flicked out again, sending another chair sailing through the air towards the pudding as he stepped near the reaper. "I am Mirac, Mirac Trice. And you and your friend are?" He stopped as he noticed the goop near the reaper's foot. Even as she jumped away, his chain whipped around a nearby table leg and flipped it over as it flew through the air. It slammed down onto the goop with a ground-shaking smash. "By the way, do you know if the cafeteria is still open? Or has this... thing, closed it down for the time being?" HP: 30/30 Damage: Zip Cumulative Damage: 17

The stench-ridden muck that was quickly beginning to consume one of his favorite belts surprisingly didn't seem to bother Thackery too much. The power of having a "weapon" had seemingly gone to his head. It was far more reliable than a bunch of moody summon-puppies; all he had to do was flail in his enemy's general direction, which wasn't even slightly difficult in this case, and he'd hit it. "Really!" Whether or not it was true, it was obvious he believed it. "The snow is...new. But this stuff, uh." He laughed, halting his attacks momentarily, clumps of filth dripping from the weaponized accessory. "Not this specifically. This is new too. It seems like there's always something happening, though. Sometimes we actually know about what's going on, but mostly...not." He watched silently as the ghostly student entered and began flinging things at the blob without touching them. Everyone else had such awesome, reliable abilities! "I'm Thackery." For the first time, he left out the "Cerberus" part - his mind seemed to be elsewhere. "Ginger. I haven't seen Ginger anywhere. She runs the cafeteria, so I don't think you can still get food, but maybe we can find something in the kitchen that will work against this thing?" HP: 13/30 Damage: 0 Cumulative Damage: 17

Ash blinked as he saw Thackery being borderline defiled by the terrible pudding. He had been separated from his friend, and was glad to finally see him again. There would be time to greet the cerberus later; there was attacking to do right now.
He lifted his sword, charging at the gooey monster, swinging his blade like he rarely got to do outside of training.
...It was not so effective. Ash's helm was now covered in some goop, and his apron was, too.
"Thackery!" he shouted, waving a gloved hand at him, flinging some pudding around. He jogged towards his friend, rubbing what he could off of it. "Ugh. This smells atrocious." It made his skin crawl.

Mitzi nodded to the ghost. "I'm Mitzi. Nice to meet you." She giggled a bit at Thackery as he continued to try wailing on the pudding with his belt, which was becoming less and less effective. She found his puppyish enthusiasm rather adorable. "Do you think we can even get in? It looked closed when I looked from the other side, and well, the goopy thing seems to keep blocking us from getting places."She saw the new Reaper arrive and attack, and waved back to him. "He a friend of yours, Thackery?" Given that he seemed to know the cerberus, it seemed a safe assumption. With a sigh, Mitzi summoned her weapon again, frowning at the goo already on it. There wasn't much reason at this point to avoid getting more pudding on it, so she ran forward and attacked, quickly backing up to Thackery again once she'd gotten a solid hit on the thing. HP: 28/30 Damage: 2 Cumulative Damage: 21

At the sight of the taller boil, Thackery looked like he might start bouncing in excitement. The Cerberus looked truly terrible, clothes in disarray, half of his painted-on whiskers chipping away from his skin, pinkish rat-paint still clumping the fur on his ears and tail together, but his excitement overwhelmed his usual consciousness over his appearance. "Aaaash!" He hugged his arm, wrinkling his nose at the scent of the puddingsmudges. Very unpleasant up close, especially to his sensitive nose. It was enough to repel affectionate nuzzling, which was impressive on the JOY-scent's part. Reuniting with Ash temporarily took precedence over attacking the Christmas creature, and he hung close to his side. It was so easy to lose one another when crazy things started happening! "Oh, locked?" He scrunched up his nose, puzzling over another course of action. "Maybe Ginger got out okay after all...but you definitely can't get a sandwich." An apologetic shrug accompanied his analysis. "I guess the only thing to eat is this thing. You can try it, but it smells gross." The stockpile of spookies and shockolate cakes from his late night QueasyBake adventures had never been more desirable and unobtainable all at once.

((My HP: 30 Damage Dealt: 0 Collective Damage to Boss: 21)) Ash rubbed some of the grossness off, opting to unbutton his soaked shirt and toss it aside, deciding to be shirtless besides his apron. It got rid of SOME of the stench. "It was not the brightest of my possible choices to select," he acquiesces with a grunt under his helm. He wiped his hand on his apron before lightly carding through Thackery's hair, scritching behind an ear as an apology. "Thackery is my friend," he says to the unfamiliar girl. "We may be able to distract it?" He leaned down low enough to cover Thack's head with his helm, sneaking him a quick peck on the cheek. "You guys try again." He rushed the pudding, sword in air. He missed by a landslide, but seemed to get its attention a little.

Mirac arched an eyebrow in half-amusement at the one named Thackery. He wasn't quite sure what the boil was trying to accomplish with his rapidly degrading belt, but the revenant certainly wouldn't fault him for enthusiasm. He sent another chair flying towards the pudding, taking a step back when it surged towards him. Though Mirac was getting used to the stench, getting too close to the source threatened to overwhelm him. "Does this creature not know when to quit? I really would like to kill it so I can get my sandwich. I do need to get started on my Criminal Law For The Dead 101 class, after all." Without missing a beat in throwing things at the pudding, he pulled his shirt open, revealing a hole in his chest. At first glance, it looked like a horrific wound, until one looked closer and realized that it was darker than dark within. Mirac reached in with his free hand, his arm going in deeper than should have been physically possible before reappearing, another chain wound tightly in his bony fist. The revenant gave a humorless smile as he pulled the chain from within and whipped it forward with a metallic snap. Using both chains, he grabbed one of the longer, picnic-style tables with the attached bench seats and sent it flying towards the pudding. Unfortunately, he overestimated the over-arching flight path and merely grazed it. Physics always was his worst subject. HP: 30 Damage: 2 Cumulative Damage: 23

At Thackery's suggestion of trying to eat the pudding, Mitzi shook her head. "I was with two boils earlier, who'd bitten some rat-thing that smelled just like this. They were so ill from it they could hardly stand at first. So I really don't think trying to eat this thing would be a good idea."She then turned to the other Reaper, nodding at his suggestions. "Well, we definitely could use some more help in here. I'm Mitzi, by the way."She joined in attempting to attack the thing again, but found to her dismay that the pile of goop she struck wasn't attached to the pudding anymore. Ew. What a waste, more goo on her weapon without doing any actual damage. HP: 28/30 Damage: 0 Cumulative Damage: 23

The echo of a stifled giggle rang out from Ash's helm as it dipped over him. Thackery was left looking a little flustered, gaze flickering from the reaper to the pudding and back again. All of this was certainly distracting him, if not the pudding. "I don't think it can quit," he remarked, clearing his throat. "Every time it does, it comes back even worse, and if it stops again..." He frowned at it, considering its deteriorating appearance and worsening scent, jabbing at it with his looped belt. "Wait - rat thing?" With a curious hm, he turned to Mitzi. "There was a real rat king in the theater. I thought it was dead, but I guess...maybe it was like the pudding? How many of these things are there?" He was mostly just musing aloud, but any actual information wouldn't hurt the situation. There was no telling what the rest of the school looked like right now. "I missed the field trip, and I guess none of you were around then, but some of the others fought Christmas things like these. And I don't know much about Insanity, but the pudding is kind of starting to look like it." Another cautious prod. "So maybe...don't get really really close." HP: 13/30 Damage: 0 Cumulative Damage: 23

Mirac chuckled at Thackery and the reaper that was with him. "Save it for the bedroom, you two. I do believe we still have this... thing, to kill." He tilted his head as a chair passed through it. "Well, attempt to kill, anyways." Running out of chairs and tables to throw, Mirac began to circle around the blob, snapping it with his chains as he made his way towards the kitchen. Maybe he could find something there that would make a dent in this thing, he thought, as his chains sent small globules flying off the pudding, though so far doing no damage. HP: 30/30 Damage: Nada Cumulative Damage: 23

"Yeah, it was in the theater. I think they were helping fight it? I found them outside, they were looking sick and told me not to go in. But we ran into several other things afterwards, including an ice mimic, which kept turning into us so we'd attack each other." She pulled a face. That thing was the reason she looked in such a sorry state, with her burned shirt and the silver glitter absolutely covering her. But if this pudding thing was behind even some of the trouble, she was going to take out her anger on it. Or at least that was the plan. She wasn't really watching Mirac, though, and almost walked into one of his chains, having to dodge backwards quickly. Really her own fault, but she wasn't about to admit it, especially not after the day she'd had. "Hey, watch where you throw that thing!"HP: 28/30 Damage: 0 Cumulative Damage: 23

Lizzy appeared with Mac in tow. Lizzy used her Fear, which involved slicing up the giant pudding with her threads.

The music once again goes quiet all over campus, and in the silence, the turning of gears growls and grinds deep underground seems louder than ever. And then even louder until the air is vibrating the the thunderous rhythm. The forms of defeated foes soon begin to waver and then...not quite dissipate, but rather turn misty, into a fog of sorts. The wisps of their remains travel outward and upward, until the sky above the school is dark with the restless fog.
Some students may find it...familiar. And when the clockwork cacophony shifts and twists, subtly, ever so slowly into a chorus of terrible, dark whispers...it becomes very familiar indeed.
The air is soon full of hundreds of voices, a speaking at once in a maddening hum of confusion, anger, and a crushing, mind-numbing loneliness.
