Gwin's face immediatly brightened at the sound of a school-wide-food-fight. She lept from the coutch.
"What are we waiting for?! We ought to be down there- Smacking down those Marauders with mash!" she punched her fists into the air violently.
"Noone told me about that! C'mon! I need to at least get one good shot at Snivellius-" she qwickly corrected herself,
"Snappers, before it's all over."
By now, Gwin was half-way across the common room, when she bumped into Remus.
"S'up Moony." she said, before she thought.
As she lept throught the portrait hole, she called over her shoulder,
"About the drama exit, I just needed some air." she said plainly.

Lily doged a flying treacle. "I'm leaving, I advise you do the same." SHe walked toward the common room. When she got there, she said the password and entered to see the girls and Remus. "Hi Remus, lucky for you, you escaped."

"Gwinella Frey Aspenwood! Stop right there!" Leah said loudly, in that commanding big-sister voice. She was not going to let this go. No way, no how...."Turn around, and come right here."
Although it wasn't by much, Leah was the eldest. And although she didn't use that big sister tone very often, she expected it to be obeyed when she did. And Gwin knew it.....But then she also must know that I only do it for her own good! This is important, I can feel it. I can't let this go. She thought.

Kailyn sighed as the food fight started. she was not in the mood for this. She moodily picked up a pitcher of pumkin juice and charmed it to dump all over Wotisname, Sirius. That should get him smelling like pumpkin, she thought. Oh well. Amid the confusion, she slipped away and started wandering the halls. It wasn't as if she knew her way around..... But then again, did she care?

Gwin looked back, her eyes lying- Err, through her teeth. Her brown eyes were wide, a wanting to join the food fight clear.
Mentally, she was paniked (Spelling!). Taking a deep breath, she looked into her sister's eyes.
"What? I'm missing a great food fight. I won't back down to trounce some Slytherins- No way."
Please,shedosen'tknow,please,shedosen'tknow- Gwin begged mentally.
Gwin had her hand still firmly planted on the portriat door. She noticed that her knuckles were turning white, and she loosened her grip.
To anyone looking up the stairs, it was obivious where the Gryffindor common room was.

Sirius shrugged off Lily's advice, grabbed a full bowl of ice cream and swiftly charmed it to glomp the entire Slytherin table. As he watched his Frankenstein-ice cream attacking his peers, a large pitcher of pumpkin juice turned itself over directly above him. Probably a bitter Slytherin, he thought, jumping up from the table. The sticky mess seeped through him, and his long hair clung to his forehead and sides of his face.
"I'm going to go unpack," he shouted to James, over the din of the halls. "I'll see you in the common room in a minute."
He dodged the flying foods, and stepped out into the hallway. He was halfway to the common room when he stopped dead in his tracks. The new girl. And he was covered in pumpkin juice. "Hi," he said awkwardly. "That's quite something in the Great Hall, eh?" he said sheepishly, extending his hand to the girl.
OOC: Could she possibly not realize that this fellow is Sirius?

Gwin heard Sirius' voice somewhere at the bottom of the stairs. Her palms began to sweat. He's coming. Gwin took another deep breath.
Two options, she told herself.
A.) I go down there, intecept, and kill Sirius. Explain later...
or
B.) Let it slip and explain to her two best friends about her girlish problems.
There wasen't much of a choice.
Talos whooped a victorios war-cry when the plan was put into action. Yes, she, the inocent oddball had pulled one with the natorious Leah Aspenwood.
Talos had on a wicked expression as she threw food about wildly.
Suddenly, a large hand grabbed her, and pulled her from on top of the table.
Kael Shacklebolt stood there, half his face dripping in gravy, and looked rather dignified before her, assorted food items adorning him.
"This better not be what you planned." he growled.
Talos shrugged, picked up a pie, and shmacked him in the face with it.
[BTW, Kael's a prefect....]

Kailyn turned to shake his hand, saw who it was, and shook anyway, as sticky as it was. She decided to not know who it was, and therefore see how he did. "Something, indeed." She said simply, tapping her wand on her hand with a small charm to un-sticky it. "My Name is Kailyn McConoll. And yours?"

"Uh--Padfoot, to those who know me," said Sirius, repeating her name over and over in his head. "And Sirius Black, to those who choose not to," he said with a small smile. "You were sorted in Gryffindor, weren't you? That's my house, too. D'you want me to show you to the common room?" he offered, feeling both gallant and idiotic.

"No. Gwin, come here, or to our room. We need to talk about something." Her voice was firm, but kind. "It's about the Rogues as a group. You, know..." She cleared her throat. "The fourth?" leah knew that something was bothering Gwin, but she didn't know what. Until then, she would have to be careful.

Kailyn gave a somewhat hollow smile. "Nice to meet you, Sirius. I think I know the way though." She gave one last humorless smirk before turning away towards the common room. She had heard voices in there.....

Sirius followed her. "Hey! That's not fair. You can't blow me off just yet," he said, exhasperatedly. "Give me at least another week to prove just how obnoxious and I really can be." He was joking, of course. They stopped in front of the Fat Lady, and Sirius offered Kailyn a soft smile.

Kailyn turned and looked him in the eyes. "You better believe it." She said, calmly. Inside, a part of her was longing for a relationship, but she hushed it quickly. "Sorry, I just can't." Little did she know how much pain was in her eyes as she turned away....

He looked at her, confused. "Hold on a minute--why not? You don't even know me yet!" he said, crossing his arms over his chest. Suddenly, realization struck him. "Wait--you! You're the one--the pumpkin juice--you charmed it--why?" he asked again, completely lost. "Why on earth do you have this weird grudge against me?" he asked, more forcefully.

"Brillient deduction, Holmes." She said, somewhat harshly. "And it's not so much against you as-" She stopped, horrified at what she had been about to say. Why was she telling him this? Why was she telling him anything?The only thing she should have to tell him was to go rot! What was so unsettling about this Gryffindor guy anyway?
She sighed. "Just butt out, okay? I'm here to learn, nothing else." And with that and a muttered 'bangers and mash', she swept into the common room, right up into the girl's dormitory.
