Ling relaxed again and nodded. "You are welcome to be of this pride if you so choose..." He rested his head on his paws. in awhile he would go out and find something for them to eat. He had no hunters, so he would still have to hunt, perhaps with Nuri's help.

Nola was more then a little disappointed that Xia wasn't getting up. She looked at Ling with mornful eyes. "I tired to wake her up but she won't..." her ears drooped a little sad that she failed her king in the task he had given her. "I'm sorry."

Ling looked at Nola and smiled. "It is fine little one." he rose for mthe ground walking over to where Xia slept and Nola waited. He leaned down and grabed Xia by the scruff of her neck and lifted her into the air. He moved with her to the back of the cave and placed the tired cub in his paws. "Wake up little pink one..." he licked the cub's cheek lightly.

Nuri grinned and tilted his head, looking around at the cave. "May I assume that those in this cave now are the entirety of your pride? If so, I think it would benefit us both if I stay. And besides that, I like what I've seen so far. You can be assured that I won't challenge your authority, but want to back you in any way I can." He sat back down and watched as Nola tried to wake Xia and failed, then as Ling carried her to the back of the cave.

"Then you are welcome to stay...thank you, for everything." He sighed as the little cub slept on. She must have been worn out, very. "All I ask you...is...until I have a hunting party...help me gather food for these kittens. They need to eat...as do you by the look of you...and Leanna could do with her fair share as well."

"You're most welcome. It's the least I could do." He bowed his head and said, "I can hunt, though with just a few adults larger game will be very difficult if not impossible."

"I agree...but I cannot expect Leanna to hunt with us..not in her state." He sighed and placed Xia on the ground. he moved over to Nuri. "We'd best be hunting now...the kittens will eat now..and later tonight as well...there is no large game about that I've seen, only boar."

"All right then, we'd better get moving then," Nuri grinned, amused by the whole irony of their situation. "It's best not to keep them waiting. Unfortunately I don't know the land yet, so I will have to take your instructions by the letter, for better chance of success."

Shaitani shifted, feeling the sun warm his dark fur. Upon opening his eyes he saw the scattered remains of the image he had been drawing last night as he sat aside Ling. He frowned, sitting up and wiping the remains away with his tail. He noticed two new felines occupying the cave. they were both brighter in color than he, and were both adults. He stared at them, examining every inch of their bodies and trying to guess their personalities, before walking from the cave and lying in the grass to clean himself.

"We are both shooting in the dark here, my friend.." He laughed and moved with him to the exit of the cave. "I find...that the grassy area near the lake is best to find boar stopping for a drink..." He moved out of the cave it was a nice walk to the area, no point in stalking for the time being.

Nola sighed as Xia wouldn't wake even for Ling and then walked off to see what else she could do. She noticed that one of the other little males was trying to clean himself in the grass. It was the darker one of the two male cubs and she found him interesting. She plunked herself down and sat watching him for the time being. Maybe he would even feel like playing later.

Nuri grinned and followed Ling out of the cave. Of course, he remembered the general direction of the lake, but knew none of the paths, thanks to Ling's winding route the night before. "Good day," he said as they passed Shaitani, watching the dark cub curiously after his forward behavior earlier. "Quite forward, isn't he?" Nuri remarked to Ling with a light smile as they walked.

Shaitani's ears twitched as the female sat down next to him. He had sene her before, but had no idea of her name. He looked up, deciding himself clean, and stared at her with a blank look on his face.
As the male passed and greeted him, he nodded, then returned his gaze to Nola as he continued on with Ling.

"He is that.." He laughed and looked back over his shoulder at the little kitten. "That one I worry about. He allready has an ear for pride politics. He may turn out to be quite the rival when he grows." He moved onward, leading Nuri on the direct route to the lake.

"What to play?" Nola asked as she tilted her head at the boy. He seemed very silent and it made her wonder why. Not that she would ask. That would be far too nosey. She moved her head a little closer to him. "My name is Nola by the way. Nice to meet you."
