Quote: 61 - 80: You see various foot prints on the ground, which isn't highly unusual at all. Its more that the footprints seem to disappear from times before reappearing again: or maybe several reapers just went crazy with mass Shadow Walking Still, he found himself trying to follow the foot prints as he kept on picking up trash, wondering where they might lead. He followed them past where several of the more popular booths had been - not that that really meant anything. Everyone had gone to those booths at least once, so it made sense that who - or what - ever made these weird tracks did too. After a few minutes he gave it up. This was stupid, he should just concentrate on one job at a time, probably.

Watching his reaction gave Astra second thoughts about what she had said, looking a little concerned about his demeanor. "It-it's okay! Lots of students get scared by weird voices! And I'll help you to study for your classes, so you wont have to worry about stupid ghosts trying to prank you" Still, Yuki appeared very quiet, not saying anything while he picked up the trash on the ground. Frowning, she whizzed around, picking up as much trash as she could find and placing it into the bins. Though in her hurry to pick up trash, she didn't see a stray sash hanging of one of the booth heads, and she flew right into it, tangling herself up and falling into a heap on the floor.

Quote: 81 - 100: As you clean, you notice that it seems to be getting lighter, as in literally everything is lighter around you. It seems almost foggy.... The next time Aksaja moved to stretch a bit, he blinked as he noticed something odd. The light was . . . different. Brighter or something? Shaking his head, the dragon bent down to pick up a few more things from the ground, then jumped slightly when something seemed to move in front of him. Eyes narrowed, Aksaja stared outwards, only now noticing that things a bit farther away seemed to be a little hazy. Almost like there were . . . fog. s**t. Not fog again, what the hell. "Anyone else seeing this?" he muttered.(( Just quote me if anyone wants to talk! I'm sticking around in here~ ))

Mot stared at the horrid mess with a look of defeat before he even started. Did they really have to clean this? How? Even the gnomes seemed to be sneaking out. The grim reaper sighed and shook his head. He'd just have to deal with it a little at a time. Best to start with his own booth. Quote: 1 - 20: You manage to find a Fright Night token... wrapper Aww... In fact it doesn't help that you find a whole pile of them - who would leave a whole bunch of wrappers just everywhere? First off, a plethora of token wrappers. While not normally a garbage picker, Mot couldn't help but check every wrapper for the chance he might find a prize. Hey, he'd worked very hard, okay? Why not reap some benefits. Still, all of it was trash. Into the trash bag it all went.

Maybe it was just an invisible student or teacher. Yeah, probably teachers spying on the students cleaning up. Supervision or fleeing the clean up duty too?

The end of the festival came as a bit of a disappointment to Thackery, who had really been enjoying talking to everyone. He hated to admit how much he'd kept to himself (and lingered anxiously around Ash's room) lately, and having the opportunity to really talk with everyone, and just enjoy a few minutes without anything else to worry about, felt like a luxury. But he still remained cheerful as he began cleaning up, carefully stacking everything into the boxes they'd come in. It was a good thing he'd gotten rid of so much booth swag at his own booth - otherwise he'd have no room for all of this other stuff he'd collected. Kari lounged nearby, wearing her new collar from Siddie's booth, unwilling to help; Dexxy, on the other hand, was wrestling with something that was probably trash. Thackery didn't interfere until the poor kitsupeito got hopelessly tangled in it. "You have to be careful if you're gonna play with junk!" he scolded, nonchalantly leaning to drop the bit of Tart wrapper into the trash can. Which immediately bit him. He let out a startled yelp and tried to yank himself away with unfavorable results. Dexxy, realizing this wasn't quite right, began to hurriedly pace in concerned loops around him. He pulled, and kicked, and tried to punch it from the inside with his trapped arm, but nothing seemed to work. Fearing that he might soon learn what it was like to be eaten by a bin, he opened his mouth to send Dexxy for help, but the garbage can just...let go on its own. What...?! "That wasn't funny," he grumbled, kicking the can in protest. Quote: As you put your garbage into the garbage bin, it tries to eat you up whole. It takes you a while for you to separate from it.

Though his arm seemed to be okay in spite of the attack, his shirt sleeve was not quite as lucky. The loose fabric must have gotten caught on its teeth...did it have teeth...? Whatever sort of biting apparatus that had kept him pinned there, if they didn't have teeth. Thackery really didn't care enough to check. He picked at the holes in the knit fabric with a concerned frown. Maybe a good patch would do. Or he could try to sew it back together, but it would look out of place with the rest of the fabric, he thought. Ughh fashion dilemma. With a defeated sigh, he flopped down in front of his booth again, unpinning the decorations to store them until he needed them again (which would be when he got back to his room, because he wasn't letting all this pink-and-sparkly-and-black-lace go to waste). Something fell from the end of the last length of fabric, crunching with a crinkly plastic noise. His ears perked up, hoping to find a candy, or a token, or something else nice, but when he snatched it up, the wrapper collapsed in on itself. Oh. This was shaping up to be an awfully disappointing Clean Up Time. First his shirt, now this? He stuffed the wrapper in his pocket to throw away in a trash can that would probably not eat him, moved to return to his fabric, and noticed another wrapper nearby. And another. And another. He thought of Dexxy in the plastic and felt his fur bristling with annoyance. "If anyone is leaving these wrappers around," he began, waving a handful in the air, "could you please be more careful? Think of the minipets." Quote: You manage to find a Fright Night token... wrapper. Aww... In fact it doesn't help that you find a whole pile of them - who would leave a whole bunch of wrappers just everywhere?

Calder knew fog. He'd encountered it many times, and all times were bad, leaving him scarred in one way or another. When he stepped out of the booths, feeling agitated, on high alert like an animal being hunted, it was then he noticed the fog.
"No." He whispered, looking around as the world started to turn lighter, the fog closing in.
"No.no.nonononononono." He held his head, turning about. "Nnnnnoooo!!"
"Someone?! Anyone?!?!!" He didn't want to be alone. Not in the fog.

Growing increasingly more irritable with each new discovery of a token wrapper, Thackery resolved to just give up for now. It did worry him to think that a minipet might choke on the stuff, but at this rate, he'd never get his booth cleaned up. There were just too many. With a sigh, he flopped down in front of his booth again. Crunch. "Oh Jackwhat--!" With a startled cry, he went tumbling backward, just barely managing to catch himself. Had he sat on a minipet? Frantic, he turned to ensure that was not, in fact, what happened. No. It was a big pile of the token wrappers. "Guuuuys, this isn't funny," he whined, searching his immediate surroundings in hopes of finding the perpetrator. Quote: You manage to find a Fright Night token... wrapper. Aww... Yuki managed a smile toward Astra, laughing softly. It did, however, sound a little forced. "I appreciate it... Sorry. I guess it just startled me a little is all."
He went about picking up more remnants of the festivities, stuffing most into his bag and some lied aside on not-so-ruined surfaces in case they were still in good enough shape to be scavenged for things other than bin food. After a bit, he overheard a bit of a commotion, only to turn and see Astra and the tangle of fabric on the ground.
Quickly, Yuki abandoned his bag and rushed over to aid her, stooping down and untangling the sash as he tried to help her up. "What happened? Are you alright?"poke mattix Yuki is going to remain here to help clean up until they're dismissed. Sexy Cocaine Deacon will be sticking around, too. He just wishes he had better things to do.

"mmmhmhmmfmfmfm yffmmfmf" Astra explained (or didn't) as she squirmed around tyring to free herself. With Yuki's help, she was able to get her head free of the material, looking at at him with a guilty smile. "T-thank you..." She blushed, then her face turned sad. What could she do to make him feel better? "T-there has to be a few tokens around! Yeah, lets keep looking as we clan up! There could be a few hidden in the b-I mean trash cans!" She laughed nervously.

"When isn't bizarre things happening here?" Amrita scoffed, folding her arms across her stomach. Fog, voices, weird footprints...that was worrying. Something was going on here...
"I agree, we should leave." Leaving sounded like a fantastic idea, especially in light of...recent events. She didn't want to be a danger, and yet like Mort she wasn't moving, or made any further move to. At Bella's suggestion that it's a trick of the mind, her brow raised as she regarded the ghoul. "...A trick that everyone seems to be seeing?" Her tone was short, as if the idea was ridiculous. "If we think it's bad it usually is, isn't that how it always goes?"
There was a voice. A very sudden loud voice. Almost immediately Amrita tensed, gripping her own arms so tightly her undead knuckles seemed to turn white.
"Don't do that!" Amrita snapped, but mostly whined. When she recognized it as LW she relaxed, but barely. If an obviously red friend could sneak up on them, what else could...? She cast suspicious glances around them, scraping her patchy and qute backwards hands up and down her own arms. She didn't hear LW's apology.
A voice reached her ears and she tensed once more, standing at alert as she looked this way and that. "...Calder?" She murmured, and as the voice continued..."CALDER! OVER HERE!"

Clean up. "It has to be done, I suppose," Draven mused as he joined in the effort. It was only fair, after all. He'd had so much fun running his booth he'd almost forgotten how much work it had been to set up, and he hadn't thought about how much work it would be to take down. But he knew now. Getting those tanks back to his room had been fun. But now he was back to help with all the other cleanup. Like this thing right here. A token....wait no. A token wrapper. And what was... "Wow. Why are there so many of these things right here? Did someone just sit here and unwrap a bunch? Why wouldn't they have tossed them? Ugh." Sometimes, other people annoyed Draven. Rarely, but once in a while he ran into something like this. So, he did the only thing he could do. He picked up all the wrappers, and threw them away. Quote: 1 - 20: You manage to find a Fright Night token... wrapper. Aww... In fact it doesn't help that you find a whole pile of them - who would leave a whole bunch of wrappers just everywhere?

He continued cleaning. In all honestly, this place was a mess. Draven had a feeling this trash pickup was going to take days. One piece here, one piece there...he was just following trails of garbage around. Like people were just tossing it aside as they walked around. "Why? I don't get it," he sighed. He really didn't understand some people. Just throw it away! "Huh?" And that was odd. Draven, in his trash collecting travels, had come accross some odd prints on the ground. Prints that seemed to come from no where. Matter of fact...they reminded of some he had seen a moment ago over there. Draven spent the next few minutes staring at footprints. It looked like someone was doing a very good job of not leaving any tracks behind for stretches of time. What kind of game had they been playing? Draven shrugged. Now was not the time to worry about it. There was still a lot of work to be done. Quote: 61 - 80: You see various foot prints on the ground, which isn't highly unusual at all.
