 Stelian Maximoff-Rogers: Art Instructor Stelian laid in the comfortable silence as he rested against Loki.Even with the news of his dad being dead he was comfortable just laying with the god and letting the silence surround him.

The more Loki thought the more he seemed uncomfortable with what he was thinking about. Certain things didn't add up in his head and the more he tried to decipher them the more he made excuses until he quite trying all together and pushed it from his mind. He looked down at Stelian and resolved himself to simply enjoy the man's presence. The reason did not matter.

Loki couldn't help but laugh at Stelian's comment, "My apologies. It's an old habit of mine although normally it's less noticeable. It is quite a burden being one of the few people in Asgard who actually do think." Loki grinned at his remark finding it quite humorous, not entirely realizing that he had avoided a deeper discussion.

Stelian Maximoff-Rogers: Art Instructor "Thor boasted about Asguard all the time and I used to want to go see it. It sounded beautiful but there are just places that I would rather be." He said with a shrug as he cuddled into the god

Loki looked up for a moment as if remembering, "It does have it's charm. There are definitely marvels there you can not find here and I have no doubt it's art you would enjoy. But I can walk those halls no longer, not without judgement. Nor do I particularly desire to. That place holds no value to me." Loki looked back at Stelian, "As you say, there are places I would rather be."

Stelian Maximoff-Rogers: Art Instructor Stelian propped himself up. "Why didn't you just leave? Why not go and make your own kingdom? You're powerful within your own right, why not just leave Asguard and find your own place?" He asked.

Loki looked away as he became slightly strained by the memory of the time in question, "Because I was lied to. I was taunted with the promise of a birthright since childhood. There was not place to make Lian. It had to be claimed, and I wanted what was owed to me. Thor was gone and Odin slept. The opportunity was mine to take yet I failed. It is my own disgrace. You call me powerful yet I could not even concur this meager world of mortals. No Lian, I could not just leave. Not with all my hatred and my whole life becoming the greatest illusion of all." Loki brought up his hand to look at it for a moment, the memory of what he truly was creeping into his mind.

"My aspirations have not changed so much," Loki said as he rose up next to Stelian. It was true he still desired to rule Asgard but currently he was unsure of how to go about it. In fact he had first come to Stelian's classroom as a means to relax from all his tiresome plotting. Loki reached out and touched Stelian's cheek gently, "Although I will admit there is one thing that I do not wish to share in the least."

"Lian..." Loki's words were halted as he suddenly thought about what he was about to say. A feeling had rose up in him and he was about to verbalize it but when he thought about it he realized it didn't make sense to him at all. A look of confusion rose on Loki's face and looked away as if to sort something out.

Loki's thoughts were calmed by Stelian's gentle kiss. He offered the man a simple smile. "Forgive me, Lian. I lost my train of thought," Loki lied, hiding his past thoughts even from himself.
