Surprisingly enough despite being in the presence of someone being in a superior position to himself and still having something he needed, the fact he was likely to never see this man again after today would cause the youth to swap gears. Tapping the tip of his shoe against the ground, the boy would scratch his head, looking down as he gave an audible "Tch" Clucking his tongue. When he looked next at the older gentlemen, it was with disdain, and it showed in his words. "Given the you are the owner of this establishment I figured you'd know a thing or two about your clientele. Evidently not. Frankly your customer service is so poor I'm wondering when the last time you did any actual work around here was" He said, his tone filled with annoyance and capped by a sigh.
From there Argyle would cross his arms, looking at the man across to him with a serious but flat stare "I was sent by a man named Marco to obtain a Lucky Punch. Under the circumstances it seemed likely that I am neither the first nor the last such person sent here to acquire such a thing" Tilting his head, the boy's posture became more defiant as he stomped a foot...though lightly "And considering most of the fights I've gotten into since reaching this city have been with your employees and customers, you might want to reconsider your opinions of alleyways. Seems they're a bit more civil than your store..." The butler would look at the over stacked, dust strewn shelves around them "...not to mention cleaner." Insult to injury and all that.
Jeykll throughout all of this would be looking at his trainer with stars in his eyes. Watching with such rapt attention the Croagunk practically looked like he was seeing a celebrity in person. When Argyle let the whole politeness and manners thing drop, oh boy did he! The Poison-type was practically giddy! Bouncing in his 'seat', which in this case was the floor, the Pokemon would turn to the store owner filled with Anticipation for the man's response.

Starter Pokemon: Croagunk [M] Name & Level: Jekyll, Lv 10 [Temperament] Naughty Bio:The story of how Argyle met Jekyll is a bit of an odd one. After purchasing a bulk shipment of skin rejuvenating mud from Sinnoh's Great Marsh (Guarnteed to take twenty years off your appearance!), Mistress Rosevelt had set aside some time for a fully immersive experience with the product, during which she received quite the surprise. It would seem the mud had come with stowaway in the form of an egg. Unfortunately it was about this same time the egg decided to hatch, splattering the aristocratic woman with muck and eggshell. After a shriek and shrill cry for the nearest Argyle to attend her, Verde arrived and was immediately ordered to dispose of the creature, although not before cleaning up the mess it had created. Whispering a snide remark just below his breath, both Mistress and Argyle were in for a surprise when the newly born Croagunk began to snicker devilishly. It seemed the Poison-type had heard the boy, and shared his sense of humor. Amused by this fact the young Butler then went about the task of convincing Mistress Rosevelt that the Croagunk would be quite useful in his regular duties, allowing him to make the manor to "shine as radiantly as you do Mistress Rosevelt". Little more in the way of convincing was required on the boy's part, and so he obtained his first and for the time being only Pokemon.
Since then Jekyll has proven a good match for Argyle, frequently snickering at the boy's comments be they made aloud, or simply implied. "... son, may I suggest starting with the item in question, instead of whatever little friend of yours sent you on this snipe hunt?" The man's voice was colder than Kyurem itself. He completely ignored the snide comments concerning his store; his business was still in the black, which was quite a feat in Ostglass, so he was clearly doing something right. As for his customer service... bah! The wares they peddled spoke for themselves.
Adjusting his glasses with a cool stare, he continued. "As it is, I have noticed several customers coming in to buy Lucky Punches... all youths, like yourself." He sniffed disdainfully. "A piece in some trendy new game? You children and your Bayleef Blades and your Yamask-Gi-Ohs... regardless, yes, I have noticed a surge in youths purchasing them. In fact, I have one on me right now." With a bit of a flourish, he produced a small item-- a Lucky Punch! "Given the influx of riffraff purchasing them, I'm having a tricky time keeping them in stock... this could be the last one in the whole store." There was an odd smile on his lips. "If you'd like to purchase it, I suppose I could part with it for, oh, 300 gold. Quite a generous offer, I would say, given the... mess you've made."
For a moment Argyle would stand there, watching the man for any signs of a stroke. Perhaps he was just going senile then. Adjusting something in his hand, the youth would put on full display the small bag of coins the elder gent himself had coughed up post battle "Considering you gave me more than that not ten seconds ago, its almost like you're buying it for me" Argyle stated as he dispensed the needed funds from the small bag before adding the remainder to his own. He'd of course make certain the man couldn't see that he was carrying over triple what he'd asked for. No need for him to abruptly jack up the price after all.
As this show went on, Jekyll would look from man to boy, enjoying every moment. The man sadly wasn't as...reactive as he would have hoped...but watching two masters of the same style was also good. Honestly he wished he had popcorn.
With that very thought in mind he'd reach out and start licking the fluids off a piece of Aron. Oh sure he didn't know where it had been, but he knew how it had died! Besides, probably wasn't the worst thing he'd shoved in his mouth....and when the last time a Poison-type died of food poisoning?

The head pawnbroker said nothing, just clicked his tongue derisively. Children these days... so rude. He pocked the coins, and very slowly pulled out the item in question. With a careless flick of his hand, he'd give Argyle the Lucky Punch. "Well done. Now get out of my store." That curt interaction completed, he'd pick up the Snubbull's dead body and disappear down the aisle. It seemed Argyle had completed one half of his mission!
Shoving the Lucky Punch into his bag, Argyle wonder if the tore Owner was this cordial with all his customers. Perhaps he was just sour after the solid beating he'd just received from a twelve year old. Not exactly a match for the man to brag about after all his bravado.
Once the item was secure as was his bag, the boy would proceed down the aisle towards the back of the store. Hopefully this place had a rear exit. True the old buzzard seemed like the type to want to cheap out on such things...but just because he owned the store didn't mean he made the building. Besides. Fire Codes and all.

As Argyle walked, something would tumble off a shelf and land squarely in his path. A Nosepass sat there, staring at him unblinkingly. It didn't seem interested in moving... but then, it didn't seem like it would stop Argyle should he choose to press forth. Perhaps he could just walk around the rock?

Amidst the clatter of the merchandise, Argyle did not immediately see the Nosepass. Lucky for the creature, as the moment he did it's days would be numbered. The boy had already eliminated two of it's kind, and would not flinch at taking down another. That is, if he saw it; which a moment later would prove an impossible feet.
Sitting at ground level for once, Jekyll HAD seen the Nosepass. Unlike his Trainer however, despite having been the one to murder it's brethren, he had no particular ill will towards them. Frankly he was sort of bored with killing them. You think shooting fish in a barrel is easy, try one-shotting Nosepass twice in a row. Nope, he wasn't wasting his time with that.
thus the Croagunk would leap onto his trainer's shoulders, covering the boy's eyes as he cried out ">GUESS WHO!<"
The next few moments would be filled with Argyle stumbling passed the Nosepass while attempting to free himself of the amphibian's grip and shouting at Jekyll to let go. The Nosepass would live another day!

This stretch of the journey would find Argyle in a surprisingly silent atmosphere. Obviously after that last fiasco the boy had recalled his Croagunk. Something that was functionally akin to a time-out.

A silent atmosphere? Oh, that wouldn't do! Shaking with barely-contained mirth, the little ghost floated down from the shelves, lowering herself right next to Argyle's ear.
>GOT'EM!< the Shuppet cackled, floating away to hover in front of him. She'd dart right in front of him, yellow eyes bright and insane. >Didn't? I gotcha! Huhuhuhuhuh~< She was having a very, very good time... would Argyle dare to upset the happy little jokester?
For a time after the ghost's appearance, Argyle would stand their utterly stone faced. Then, his eyes shifting to either side to inspect his surroundings, the boy would abruptly raise his hand and begin snickering. Well. He was twelve after all. More importantly there was nobody around to see him acting like the small child he technically still was.
That said, such rude behavior could not be tolerated in his general direction. So...one good prank deserved another didn't it?
Before anyone could argue otherwise, the boy would release a certain silly specter into the world once more. Her first reaction, without even seeing the Shuppet, would be to giggle. ">Mwehehehe~! Where's the punchline? IS IT ME!?<" The sad results of only coming in at the end of a joke!
