She turned as the cub cuddled against her side, she nuzzled him in a mother like way and then she herself unable to keep her eyes from shutting lay her head in a comfertable position and drifted off into sleep. Her dreams or nightmares victoriously taking over as time went on. Occasionally her ears would flicker forward back or her paws would start to knead the ground or just an peculiar movement would happen, other wise she was as quiet as a mouse.

He grinned as he watched Kila and Cyimmi, he felt at peace as he listened to the silence of the pride. He awaited to hear Niobe's paw-steps as she came back into pride, he yawned once more.
Lowering his head upon his paws, Benoni noted that both the remaining members were old enough to call for help if needed. Sleep over-came the King as his eye-lids slowly fell as he crashed into a hard slumber.

Mister Muffin Man "Well, we're glad to have you here with us." She nodded, as they moved in closer the cave Niobe bowed her head and moved off on her own.

The sound of another coming into the cave, caught Benoni's attention. He lifted his head and spotted her, Ayana. With a stretch he leaped down and padded quickly over towards her, trying not to wake his sleeping pride.
"Ayana, tis good to see you." He said, his voice thick with sleep as he nudged her shoulder and smiled. "I hope you didnt get to lost finding the cave?" he asked once more looking for Niobe's glow in the cave. Only to not find it.

"No" She smiled and looked up at him, promptly sitting up, "You sister showed methe way, I just.. followed her" She chuckled and nodded, careful to keep her voice down. She leaned on him slightly, "Tis a nice pride, you have here Benoli" She grinned and nodded.

"Its going to be wonderful having you here." He nodded his head, "Come deeper within the cave. Its warmer." He nudged her shoulder. "Get some sleep like everyone. You've earned it." He was so happy to see her, here within his pride lands.
He hoped her and Kila would get alone, he liked both lionesses, it was going to be hard on him he pondered as she sat there beside him. "The lioness of vibrant colors is Kila, the cub beside her is Cyimmi." He glanced around, "And somewhere I have a young male, his name is Mandolin." He nodded his head. "They are all I have, and I am proud to have them."

Ayana smiled, "They seem nice" She nodded and followed him in, "More people will come, Benoli, they should," She letout a small laugh, "We'll bring 'em in" She sat in a corner of the inside opf the cave. Indeed, it was warmoer.

As the others settled down Mandolin took a place near the enterance to the cave after Benoni had gone in after the new lioness. He yanwed and then rested his head on his front paws but he kept an eye open just in case. He listened to the night around him and it made him smile slightly. It was good to have a home again.

" Yes, They'll come here, and will stay." He gazed out to the horizon and watched it closely for any movement unwated. He turned his head to look at Ayana and nudged her shoulder. "Rest Ayana." He said as he rose to his paws, padding out of the cave he moved the kill closer to the cave, it would feed them all for another day. Sitting at the rim of the front of the cave he sat and thought about the things wandering through his mind.
His tail laid down out behind him, the feathers laid softly on the hard clay like earth as he gazed out he lifted his gaze to the stars, as if looking for something, someone. Noting nothing at all, he shook his head and returned his gaze to the land.

Kila was dreaming...or so she thought. She was as she was now, a young lioness roaming her old lands and it was raining like the day she was abandoned. The rain poured and poured, the water rose and rose from her paws and making its way up.
She ran to a small acacia tree and scaled it trying to escape as she looked out she had seen the floating bodies of other lions who drowned...her family. Her little sister and mother, the other four members of the pride. She cried out as the branch snapped from under paws. Her claws unsheathed as she sank deeper and deeper into the cold waters.
While her nightmare had been going on, she was crying aloud and she hadn't noticed it. This was only one of the many nightmares that kept re-occuring. Her claws stroked the air as she was still deeply into the dream watching herself drown in the water infested lands.

The sounds of Kila crying out in her sleep caught his attention instantly he jumped to his paws, moving quickly he rushed to her side. Lifting up Cyimmi in his jaws he padded the sleeping cub towards Ayana. He placed the cub down beside her and then turned and curled himself around Kila, he nudged her shoulder. "Kila, awake up..please wake up." He pleaded quietly as he continued to nudge her shoulder. " Your safe now. I swear, wake up." He whispered into her ear.
Kila was a vibrant member of his pride, it pained him to see her still caught in the aches of her own past.

Her claws dug into the ground as a snarl emerged upon her usually delicate face. She heard voices in her dreams, but they weren't in her dreams. Her eyes opened sharply as her claws and her tense body relaxed. She realized it was Benoni's voice and nudging that awoke her. "Thank...you." She managed to get off, trying to shake the night mare. She trembled as she tried to regain herself, instead of this frightened cub she was starting to realize she had appeared to Benoni. She hoped he didn't think any less of her because of these dreams.

" No need to thank me." He said softly, keeping his tones hush enough that she could hear him. He stayed curled around her, he remembered waking up to Niobe doing the same to him, but he used to shake with cold after words. " Do you want to talk about it?" he asked as he nuzzled her cheek, she worried him now. He thought nothing less of his "professional" but he worried now of the things she held within herself.

Ayana nodded and walked to the back corner of the cave, soon falling asleep but prompty awakening when the yound cub was placed beside her. She blinked and lifted her head to the sound of others talking and peered att eh two afar. She shrugged and laid her head on her paws, ears still perked and alert.

Kila watched him with a bit of intimidation, she could trust him she supposed with part of her past. She hadn't let anyone into her past yet, maybe thats why she kept having those dreams of drowning. She lay her head upon him, thinking.
She looked outside as the night seemed to be carrying on. She then got up still trembling a bit, but shook it off. "Would you like to go on a short walk?" She noted there was another lioness in the den, her ears flickered as she started to head for the entrance.
