She was overwhelmed with a feeling of hopelessness.
"Vermillion, This is what the Queen meant this morning,
This woman is evil. She will show no mercy, she will stop at nothing. The kingdom is in her grasp, and for now she is sated. Enough so, that we have enough time to work on a counterattack before she becomes restless.
There's no point in rushing headlong into a battle that cannot be won, rash mistakes such as those your suggesting often cause more harm than good in the end, and gods help us, we have more trouble than we know what to do with."

The crowd was dispersing for the most part. Probably off to rile more civilians, and then return to cause more damage...
She turned back to Vermillion, and Arkayid; " It may not seem so at this time, but whether or not you trust my decision I truly believe that this is the best path to take... I realize that one, or both of you may choose not to heed my warning, I can only offer my advice and hope you take it. I'll admit I'm no ruler, but Jadeira trusts me as her representative. That means that in her absence she trusts me to make decisions, that she herself would approve of. I would not leave my sister, and Queen in the hands of those brutes if I did not think it our only rational option..."
Her red eyes flashed, lethal rage welled up in the pit of her stomach. Clenching her fists, she took a deep breath, and fixed them with a grim stare. " I assure you, that I have no intentions of letting that madwoman live any longer than neccesary. She has the support of the people. Most likely through deciet, but nevertheless. It is not wise to retake a kingdom by force without support from at least most of its people, or you will steadily deteriorate, until there's nothing left of the economy but pure unadulturated chaos.

((I have super powers. I teleported her without you all knowing, because I have mind-controlling techniches XP) Now I shall go and delete ooc...)
(Writers block has an iron hold, so forgive me if it’s terrible. Personally I have no idea where she is, or how she got a table...)
With a leaden sigh, she struck a match and lit the candles in the sconce.
She stared nonchantley at the blank peace of parchment at her fore.
After a few moments, she dipped her quill in ink, and prepared to write the letter, ordering the armed forces to retreat of the palace premises... Without her sister. That army would lay waste to the entire kingdom were she to allow it to stay within that evil woman’s grasp. And there was no doubt, that it would provide aide, once a resistance was formed... The thoughts swirling around in her frantic mind distracted her for a little while as she imagined her sister that very morning. Grimly determined, obviously preoccupied, and in a hurry to see them off.... "I should have seen it coming...” She whispered hoarsely...
Squaring her shoulders, she attempted to begin her letter, only to realize that think had dried. Murmuring darkly she scraped the access off with her knife, and rewetted the quill.

 General,

It is to my great sorrow, that I must order you and your troops to evacuate Esperanza with great speed.

The new Queen is an imposter; my sister is being falsely accused.

There is no time to rescue Queen Jadeira. The false queen may order you to attack at any time, and our country can't afford to lose you to whatever false enemy she dreams up.

I have just been informed of her name. Sibel is it?
 Sibel is a madwoman.

So not waste any men trying to eliminate her.
Send your messengers to Teir, Domachi, and Houka to warn them of this new threat.

I have spoken briefly with the empress of Houka. The resistance will begin there. March your troops east my friend, and meet us there within the month.

I want Sibel watched. Her every move noted,
Her every whim documented and sent to me post haste, with no exceptions.

Heed my warning, Jadeira is beyond our help. Any rescue attempts are a waste of brave, honest men, who deserve a better fate.

 Yours Truly,
 Lady Nadira

P.S. The Dragon's name is Metta. She bites.

When she finished she set down the quill to make sure she forgot nothing.
Her tears stained the paper, with every word that she read.
She folded the parchment and put in an envelope.
Gripping the sconce she dripped the hot wax on the front, and pressed in her seal.
 "Metta..?''
 She cooed sweetly,
The little purple fiend poked her head out of the covers and trilled questioningly. "Take this to the general won't you my sweet?"
She tied the envelope to her foot, and carried her to the window. Metta took flight as soon as she threw open the shutters. Her crying increased in intensity as she watched her companion embraced by the dark starless night.

Vermillion got tired of this mob very quickly and the indecision amongst them was too volitale to leave as is. Vermillion got atop a high point so he was very visibile and could be decently heard.
 "Silence!"

Vermillion's word was lost amongst the dwindling crowd, those that were left were hardliners that kept spouting off insults and no cooperation threats. Vermillion took another breath and planting his feet and pitching his body forward so his hands rested on the small piece of wall he climbed up on. Vermillion's transformation took mere seconds and his profile now dwarfed the crowd, and his voice could not be ignored.

"Take a very good look at me, all of you, and let it be burned into your memories of what just happened. I am capable of very destructive power, also very capable of infiltration, deception, and murder if i choose to be. I can do all the things you accuse me of and more; but why would I waste time in infiltration, why deceive, because it would be sooo much easier to raze the entire palace. People, and all without you even seeing my face or shadow to point blame, but here i am a diplomat to argue peace for a nation so torn by war its become paranoid of outsiders quick to point fingers at the slightest disturbance."

Vermillion kept his head moving so that everyone could get a glimpse of his expressions and to feel the driving force of his large eyes.

"So as I see it you have a limited number of options before you as a nation. You can reject our help and stumble your way back to your prestige, back to your strength under a new leader you trust and respect, you can accept our help keep your strength, have the rest of your lives ahead to never look over your shoulders to see when the next enemy will take or steal from you. All i ask is that you trust us a little bit, give us the chance to prove to you, and to ourselves that peace is possible. Then toegether we will find and persecute the one responsible for the tradgety that happened a few days ago."

"Eh, and me being a country bumpkin of Teir would never be THAT eloquent." He said with a grin. "Vermillion, can you please relay this message to Lord Toleranth? 'I've headed to Esperanza. For the reasons of finding out what the hell is going on over there, and to see if I can pull Jadira and anyone else out of there.' That's all there is to it. I'll be seeing you. You may want to tell Nadira as well."

With that, he spun on his heel and started his way back to Esperanza.

Vermillion nodded to Arkayid but rattled on to the crowd a very tedious and boring plan to restablish the monarchy.
 --------------------

Out of the darkness another set of wings was heard and a smaller bluish dragon landed on the window ledge and hopped down on the floor shaking a bit before looking up at Nadira. He nodded slightly and moved clear before shifitng to a more human form: "I haven't much time, were can I find vermillion, I have urgent news for everyone, but his ears the most deserve it."

You could check the square, I think he's still out there, talking to that mob..."
She nervously raked her fingers through her hair.
She had long since changed out of her simple blue travel gown into something a bit more maveuverable, and provided alot more protection. True, Her studded Leather Jerkin, and gauntlets were a poor substitution for armor, In fact, A well placed knife slash would take her down quickly, but It was better than nothing.
"I think I'll head down there myself, I'm tired of being stuck up here, I've done nothing wrong. And I can defend myself if need be."

In the Immense, Silent void of night, one could clearly hear the muffled beat of wings. Fleurity Lazily navigated the night sky by the light of the harvest moon. A pleasantly cool breeze caressed her face, and blew her slightly off course, she adjusted her course with a flick of a wingtip, as she buisily scanned the countryside, with her piercing violet gaze. Finally spotting her destination, she began to spiral gracefully towards the ground. As she broke cloud cover, she could vaguely make out the shape of a...dragon? Standing amongst the inhabitants of Pearle, very loudly voicing his displeasure with them. Well this was something new.
She was only a few miles above ground now, and could clearly make out the scene. She shook her head at the idiocy of humans, as she alighted on a rooftop, her wings gracefully folding into the leather harnass she used to keep them out of the way when she was among the judgemental humans, A violet eyes, white haired woman in odd clothes drew their attention as it was, were she to walk around with her many wings loose, she doubted she'd ever make it out of the city alive. The violent tendencies of humans were usually directed at those the judged as abnormal. This seemed to be only another example of their odd ways, as the very angry dragon elaborated on just exactly he would do to them, should the continue behaving like blubbering idiots.
I had never thought of that. She mused, as she pinned her hooded cape at her throat with the crescent shaped saphire. Checking that her sword was ready at hand, Fleurity swung her legs over the side of the building and dropped to the ground.
A cloud of dust rose up as she made her landing. She was still lurking in the shadows. The dragon, Lord Vermillion, she corrected herself as she listened to the hushed murmers of a nearbye group, was alot bigger from this angle, and quite a bit more imposing. Shepulled up her hood, to shield her abnormal features, and began making her way through the crowd.
A viscious brute cut across her path, he leered at her, and motioned with a wickedly pointed knife, for her to follow him off to the side.
Normally, she would have simply disposed of him, and been done with it. Humans were a hidiously overpopulated race anyways, and judging by his appearance, no one would miss this particular man.
But, alas, a murder amidst a mob this large would hardly go unnoticed, even if it was only in self-defense. They would have her in a moment. Besides, no one man was a threat to a harpy, especially one of Fleuritys power, and standing. As she followed the mangy cur through the crowd, she casually pressed her flute to her lips, and began playing, focusing the notes on her 'captor'
He paused as he finally broke through the last line of men,
She smiled with satisfaction as his head lolled to the side, and he dropped to the ground with a low moan.
 Problem solved.

The man standing in Nadira's presence shook his head; "Lady Nadira, this is much more grave for his ears alone. King Toleranth collasped a day ago, and must forwarn you that if Toleranth were to die from illness. Vermillion was his choosen intermediary till the heir arrived. However I also bring news from home of a much more grim nature. The fires at loas's temple have been lit again, and scores of demons and rouges have been spotted moving without check in and out of Esperanza. We fear the worst, but however we shall keep your apprasied with as much infromation that we get. In the eyes of my lord you rule esperanza until the Queen is rescued, and my lord will provide his aide at your command faithfully."

Vermillion paused mid sentence hearing the notes, but kept talking as he slowly moved off the wall making sure to stay clear of anyone so as not to squish them. His eyes now scanned the crowd for the source of such poweful notes.

Still behind Nadira, Kado couldent help but be slightly confussed with all the situations that had come up, but he would compensate for them. He had entirley ignored the fact she had statd that she could defend herself, he was just doing as Jadira asked of him and that was to protect Nadira no matter what, and he was sure he would do so until theend if need be. Glancing ever which way and observing the surroundings the best he could making sure no one may to try to cause damage to this situation, which seemed to be quie dire infact.

Marta stood there her back to the dragon that was a man a minute ago. her ears perked up when she heard the playing of a flute, and she knew at once there was a harpy among them. darkness sprites were close cousins of harpies, she scanned the croud looking for the sorce of the sound "....where are you cousin" she said to herself woundering if this harpy in particular knew of her parents
