Kaleb relaxed a bit, if the man was going to cooperate maybe that meant they would get what they came for and go, although he had no hope that they would let him heal the man before they left. Although he didn't want to admit it to himself, he wasn't even sure they would leave the guy alive.

Rude picked the man up and set him in his chair. With a firm hand he kept him in the chair while Reno typed.
Reno patted the man on the cheek. "Looks like everything's fine, so you're safe for the moment." He laughed as the man whimpered.

Kaleb felt his legs tremble, and he shot a quick glance in Reno and Rude's direction. He was beginning to wonder if he was better off all alone in the hallway, but he didn't dare take a step in that direction.

"Rude .. deal with him hum?" He slid off the desk and walked over to Kaleb. Draping an arm over the blond's shoulder he led him out into the hallway.

Kaleb let himself be led out of the room with no small amount of relief. He would certainly start to feel better once he was away from all the blood. The mage had only just stepped into the hallway when his shaking legs gave out, and he clung to Reno for support.

He laughed as he held Kaleb up buy his jacket. "This is why i told Tseng it would be a bad idea"
At the mention of his name the other audio appeared. "It was not a bad idea. Kaleb will have to get used to it eventually."

Kaleb clung only until he felt he could stand on his own again, and then he reached out to steady himself against the wall once he let go of Reno. "I-I didn't faint," he said in a weak voice, and he shook all over.

"I'm not going to faint," Kaleb said in a trembling yet determined voice, shaking his head. That movement didn't help things any, and he leaned his back against the wall and slid into a shaking pile on the floor. "I-I think I need to sit down though."

Rude came out of the room a few moments later and shut the door behind him. "Taken care of." He nodded at Tseng
"Like i said, i'm not carrying him and i know we dont have time to sit around and wait."

Kaleb took a couple more deep breaths before scrambling back to his feet. He still shook, but the faint feeling had mostly passed, and he certainly didn't want to be carried. "I-I'm okay now," He said, trying to sound more confident than he felt, and then he took a step away from the wall.

Rude rested one hand on Kaleb's shoulder while Tseng berated Reno for his mouth. "Sure you can walk?" He looked down at the blond.

Kaleb figured it wouldn't be wise to lie to the living equivalent of a brick wall. He shook his head somewhat miserably, he wasn't sure if he dared take another step, and he had absolutely no idea how he would handle that staircase or step over that unconsious guard if he was still there.

"You can lean on me." He patted Kaleb's shoulder carefully and watched as Tseng shoved Reno toward the stairs.

"I-if I can't make it on my own," he replied gratefully, and took a shaky step after Tseng and Reno. It seemed to get easier as he kept moving, but he felt reassured knowing that Rude would be there if he faltered.
