Katherine blinked and looked up, "Right! sorry!" She dashed over to Danny.
Tomas smiled, "That's what they've all said. Pretty, but useless." He chuckled.

He laughed with her. "That works for me." He grinned and poked her side. He was curious to see if she was ticklish.

Danny had already put some of the food into dishes. "Ok, now all we got to do is pass it out."

Katherine helped put the meal into bowls and began to pass them out.

Jeanie shoook her head, "that's not what i meant, i meant I have no use for them because i can't draw and you are so good i want to see you use them more.." she blushed, "draw someting else for me.. please?" she asked,
Aria squirmed and pushed his hands away, "i don't like being tickled" she said, "I'll grab us some food," she stood and wandered over to whre Danny and Katherine were handing food out, taking two bowls she returned and gave one to Nicholas "eat up" she said with a smile

Katherine made sure everyone had food, doubling checking that no one was going hungry before coming back to the counter and smiling at Danny, "Thanks for helping."
Tomas looked up with a questioning look, "If you don't use them, why do you have them?"

she looked away, unable to answer, she had given up drawing a long time ago and but had kept them as momentos, eventually she told him that...

Nick blinked and pulled his hand away. He took the bowl and smiled. "Thank you." He smiled a bit more and started to eat.
Danny sat on the counter, kicking his feet a little. "My pleasure." He nodded.

"yeah" she sighed, finishing her food and putting the bowl on the floor, sitting further back in her perch she forced herself to smile at him and but inside all she could think of was how hard the next few weeks would be..

Nick put his bowl down next to him and ruffled his wings a bit. "I think I'm going to go for a fly." He said quietly and stood up.

Katherine only smiled more and handed Danny a bowl, "You gotta eat too." Picking up her own bowl she chewed pensively, "Where do we go from here...?"
Tomas was quiet for a moment, studying her. After he seemed to decide something he smiled slightly and nodded, "Then I'll draw for you." He picked up the pad and pencil and started on a fresh page. He didn't ask her why she'd stopped.
