"Of course. It was just a thought."

It would have been a very unfortunate situation if that were to be true, however. She couldn't imagine Riley suddenly being in a state of mind where almost three years of her life had been just...wiped away.

"I'm glad you got to go see her, though."

A buzzing and a barely audible chiming noise brought Alex's attention down to the fact that he had an eyephone carefully tucked away into his pocket. Luckily his hand was already in there, so it was a simple matter to just pull it out and glance at the screen. A message from Mort? He hadn't spoken to his zombro in so long he thought maybe he'd done something wrong, or that maybe he was upset about the biting of his ghoulfriend incident. Oh well, he tapped away a quick reply with his thumb, anyways



He smiled to himself at the little joke before hitting send, belatedly realizing that he had put 'both' because he assumed Mort would be arriving with Belladonna, which might not have actually been the case, which might cause some confusion.

Alex tried not to worry about it and lowered his arm back down to his side, still gripping the phone.

Shun ignored Riyo's words. She certainly hadn't helped with the situation. She couldn't escape all the blame. Instead, he turned his head and glared up at Titus.

"You talk like I hadn't warned her," he hissed before gritting his teeth as he was still riding out the pain from Riyo's kick, "But I swear. If you touch her or do anything to her really. I will break all of your bones and bleed you dry until you wish there were no such thing as reforming after death"

Was he worried Titus would hurt Mitsu? Definitely. But the only thing that was in his eye as he stared at the demon was pure spite and defiance.

Maybe twelve seconds later a second message arrived.

"It all depends on who of my friends you meet. Most are very nice, but don't be too sensitive if they come off a bit rough. Barth is nice, but he can seem disinterested. He's actually just tired. My friend Christof can seem like a mean, violent grump, but he's actually just hard at expressing himself. My friend Amrita is super sweet, but she has some strong opinions. Mal is darling, but....well, it's going through some things. I think it's best not to press it for questions or meetings right not. But It's very sweet, though sometimes it seems stiff and emotionless - which completely isn't the case." He touched his chin a moment. "I've left so many others out." He felt bad. Should he list them all? Was it mean to speak poorly about that. "Uh, but I'm no good either! I shouldn't be saying things like I am any better. I'm just some boil from the swamps that gets giddy over things like fountains and can't figure anything new out. I'm just a big moron sometimes, really." He gave a laugh at himself, before frowning a moment, and then shaking his head.

"But I'm not a good dancer either, but that's not the point. There is no wrong way to dance. All you have to do is listen to the music and let your body go." He turned to face her, and then cupped her back before taking her hand in his hand. It wasn't a light grip, but a hold, his slender fingers about her own, and slightly raised, before he started to turn with her. "I like the spinning the best." He was mindful not to stomp a hoof on her feet.

She laughed, tugging on his rope-leash again. "I dunno, I kind of like it. If I keep a hold on you, you can't get away from me again!" she teased. "I still say you're the murderer though. I mean really, in a fireplace?

Last place I can see you going down."

Shehk was completely and totally amused by this.

"But, Prom is prom. Only one night, we can gossip about Riley more later, if you still need my ear later."

Jericho laughed lightly at that before grinning weakly.

"What? Was it too dramatic? Besides, we had to get out of there some way," he said before nodding to her, "We'll keep that in mind."
