Felipe's eyes widened. The name was familiar.

"Laura?" He repeated curiously, making Sami hold up her head and look at him, her hackles raised. SHE was the one that was trying to shoot Danave?! Felipe continued to speak - all forms of cruelty and maliciousness gone from his voice. Now there was only a smooth, graceful pleasantry. "If there is anyway you can contact her - if you may please inform her not to harm a tall man with brunette hair wearing a suit - it would be much appreciated. After all, knowing him, I'm sure he's the one that saved your life and eliminated the to-be assailant. My people do not fail."

Danave raised an eyebrow in disbelief.

He had to bite back a roar of rage, and restrained himself from slapping the girl upside the face.

Without another word, he turned and ran towards the trap door. He didn't have time to deal with her. Felipe hadn't given him orders to save a fool.

((The place's windows are covered with metal and it's on full lockdown. You said yourself. Snipers wouldn't be able to strike them from outside.

Therefore the people attacking Danave and Laura are simply foot soldiers, easily able to be dispatched.))

Danave rolled his eyes.

"Idiot!" He barked, not even bothering with the Japanese anymore. He took care - however - to create a thick German accent as he hauled both of them up, firing behind them to strike said gunmen that had fired at them. All three of them fell without a word, Danave having struck in the sensitive, unguarded neck that their armor couldn't protect. "I don't need your help to save me! Now worry about your own a** and leave me alone!"

He saw the bullet wounds.

Hm... to let her die or to simply carry her out of here... decisions decisions...

"Che." He stated simply as he heard more footsteps. He was in the room with the trapdoor in it. He simply closed and locked the door, dragging a filing cabinet to block the door. "You must be a REAL idiot to cause such a scene. You better find out why they keep finding you and stop it, because this is getting really annoying REALLY fast."

Again - still with the German accent.

They didn't know where they were yet.

"So," he stated simply, turning to Laura. "You threaten to kill me for the sake of vengeance, and as it turns out I'm your only ticket out of here. Those three shots are going to make you REALLY dead REALLY quick. SO..." He kneeled down next to her, his eyes cold. "You gonna trust me or what? Seems to me like I have the definite advantage here."

He didn't seem to care about dying at all.

Heh. With a German accent, you're invincible.

((The door is closed. How could the tranquilizer make it through the door AND a heavy metal filing cabinet?))

Danave scowled from where he crouched. What an idiot assumption.

Well, at least neither of them had gotten shot because of it.

No, no, just for different reasons.

"Well, aren't you in a fair bit of trouble," he replied, still scowling. "Fine then. I know I'm going to get chewed out for this later, but..." Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out a long syringe full of liquid, the needle covered with a protective plastic slip. "If you really want out that bad, you'll trust me. You need to be sedated for what's about to happen. The effects will wear off in little under thirty minutes. Understand?"

Pulling Laura's arm to the side, Danave found the vein easily, squeezed the oxygen out of the syringe, and pressed it into her skin.

He didn't even put in one fifth of it.

This stuff is really potent after all.

He pulled it out and slipped it into his pocket before she could see how much he had put in.

"You'll be feeling the effects in approximately twelve seconds," he informed her, thankful he had worn gloves. "Start counting."

Again - keeping the German accent flawless. It was one of his favorites.

Danave picked up the comatose body and vanished through the trap door.

Around thirty minutes later Laura would awaken to find herself in the medical ward of the Mafia building, no Danave to be seen.
