Weeeelllllllll ... the hurricane has dropped down to a category 4 ... and has changed course ... leading right towards ... me. xd (I'm pretty far inland, so it should only be a tropical storm *at best* when it hits us here) It's possible we'll lose power, but I'll let you guys know as soon as possible how we did. 3nodding

I just found out we'll be having some day-offs, the form 3 students are having their major exam and stuff, and no other students are allowed to attend school EXCEPT the form 3 students during that time X_X;; So it's 2 weeks of exams and day-offs apparently rolleyes
And thanks for all the well wishes you guys whee And I'm not that smart ( unless you consider having results to originally get you into an accounting class smart...then I suppose it's alright heart ) ninja

What? The Nyo lives in Houston?! Oh man... I hope she evacuates okay. I heard the roads out of there are a complete mess.

Iyou - Yeah. I spoke with her on MSN a few nights ago; she and her mother were trying to get out of Houston. Nothing since then, though.

Just spoke to Nyome on MSN. She's ok and home; there was no damage to her house, but she didn't have power for a few hours. She and her mother left at midnight: long before the gridlock started. So everything's ok. sweatdrop

.__.; well, that's great. She and her family are alright... and Ashram's family members are possibly ok as well.... *here's hoping! >3<*
*sigh* ... .__. hurricanes... After one too many of them, one sorta becomes inmune to their destruction ... sweatdrop yet they still suck if they leave you without electricity nor water for extremely long periods of time, or worse... send you to a hospital. neutral

The worst of it for us was very tame. Just a lot of rain and some wind. The power in half of my dorm went out (yes, just half xd ) and I was without it for about ... 17 hours. No biggie though, the kitchen lights, frig, stove and bathroom lights still worked. 3nodding
Good to hear Nyome's ok. whee
