((yes i did! i was just about to tell you, it was soooo awesome. steve carrell always and forever is my god))
Jess nodded lazily, pushing herself out of the car and nearly falling on top of Peter. "I changed my mind. I'll sleep on the lawn tonight." She really did not want to drag her and the baby up into the house, especially being so exhausted.

OOC: I knew you'd love it. Best comedy of the year, hands down. And "Chicago" (from the soundtrack) ish lovely.
Peter smiled and squeezed Jess's shoulders. "There's a mattress...and comforters...and pillows," he coaxed.

"On the lawn?" Jess looked up and glanced over at the lawn. Seeing no such amenities, she grumbled started dragging herself tiredly into the house.

OOC: Damn straight he is.
Peter followed Jess upstairs, giving his parents a small smile and mouthing, 'Goodnight.'

Mr. Keyes waved goodnight to them and tiptoed quietly into his bedroom.

"Our grandchildren are going to be very good-looking, aren't they?" Evelyn asked fondly. It was a sure sign that Jess had managed to get on her good side.

Michael chuckled and gave his wife a kiss on the cheek. "They sure are. And they'll have a smashing grandmother too."

Evelyn turned faintly pink, and she got up to change into her nightclothes. "Grandparents, us," she mused. "I can hardly imagine it."

"I know what you mean." Michael changed and climbed into bed, staring up at the ceiling. "But at least we'll be young grandparents. We won't be boring and old."

Evelyn nodded, sliding into bed and resting on Michael's arm. "If anything, I'm glad that both of them agreed to do the responsible thing to do. I suppose."

"You know, they sort of remind me of us at that age." Mr. Keyes gave her a kiss on the cheek and turned the lights off with his wand. "Of course, we had the common sense to wait until graduation to do awful little naughty things, if you remember." He chuckled and started tickling his wife on the side as if they were still in school.
Jess was already passed out in Peter's bed, not even bothering to change or even take her shoes off. She mumbled to herself quietly every now and then, and at one point shouted out "Open a window, sir. It's bloody hot in here!" but that was about it.

Mrs. Keyes began to laugh, and she allowed herself to kiss her husband briefly. "Oh, you were awful in school, too, if you'll remember," she answered, on her side and looking intently at her husband's profile--namely, the long, crooked nose that she had grown to love.
Peter changed his clothes, pulled Jess's shoes off, and collapsed into bed, closing his eyes and falling asleep immediately.

((i say skippy?))
Jess woke up the next morning, feeling extremely rested. She yawned and stretched her arms above her head, opening her eyes to see Peter sleeping in front of her. She smiled, too tired to remember that she didn't know where she was, and nuzzled into his chest.

OOC: I say Smuckers?
Peter opened his eyes blearily. "Morning," he yawned, stretching his arms. He felt much more relaxed, now that he was home. And with Jess.

"Good morning." Jess pulled the covers tighter aroudn them and snuggled up against him. "It's chilly."
