In other, other news ... apparently some students find it quite hilarious when characters in the story they're reading start talking about sex in a rather ... erotic fashion. mrgreen (we're reading The Crucible)

Ashram :: surprised ! I never did finish "The Crucible" crying ...hopefully I'll go and find that book somewhere in my closet and finish it once and for all. 3nodding
Regarding the "click to view user's guilds" dilema :: Apparently the majority of the Admins feel it's a way to make new users get involved in the guilds ....yet I still feel it's a new avenue to "stalking" on Gaia. neutral

Despite the fact that the admins DO want everyone to enjoy themselves here, they fail to realize that some things do more harm than good.
Not everyone on this site want to be part of the admin vision of a big, happy, anime-luvin' community.
There are some really inconsiderate people out there and guilds were an easy way to form and maintain communities, while at the same time, offering some privacy to those who felt cornered by online stalkage.
Now our profiles all but send invites for people to follow us.
Whatever.
Maybe if we're lucky, they'll implement some kind of option for our profile page. Kind of like the PM and Friendlist request options.
Shiro > Yes, they totally overlooked the fact that a lot of users push their guilds if they go into a related thread.
I mean, hell, signatures lead to guilds half the time, damnit. -_-

I read both of those as an underclassman, and my class had to make up a euphamism for sex because they thought it was too embarassing to say. (It was "playing baseball.") Not to mention Brave New World. Oh man... xd Good times. About the view guilds thing - Urgh. I think it's a horrible idea.
