Kikyo looked to Jack. The only peron to combine their attack with her own, besides Oomizu since they shared the same ability, was Link, but now was not a the time to dwell on that. She nodded to Jack and shot the arrow forward, expecting Jack to do his thing.
Oomizu looked up to Kain, catching slight confusion. "If it makes you feel better, I didn't really ear much. My ear just tickles every now and then when there' either a high pitch or something echoing loudly. Shippo had to tell me that he thought he heard something."
((Does that even make any sense? xd ))

Just as the arrow began to fly, Jack set it on fire. He would have tried to add a speed boost with it, but wasn't sure how and didn't want to knock it off track.
"Interesting..." Kain replied. "And for your earlier question; the albino man and your mother left to search for your father, among other survivors, on the ship."

The beast covered iteself with its vines blocking for the most part the arrow. the fire burnt it a bit however since it was so juciy and full of life, the fire was extinguished quickly due to its moist compounds . it growled in pain though but quickly recovered and tried to wrap the duo up, acctually grabbing on to the priestess in its newest attempt

Kikyo flinched and grasped her bow so that the string was facing towards the vine. She added some of her purifying ability to help sharpeing th string so that when she swung the bow it would act like a blade to, hopefully, slice through the vine to get it to let go.
Oomizu's fae went pale before she looked up to the mountain and frowned before kneeling down to Shippo's level. "Are you sure you heard a roar."
Shippo whimpered as tough to tell her he had.

The purifying ablilities of Kikyo acted like sunlight to the vines, as they grew stronger and quickly wrapped around her starting to squeeze as they brought its pray closer to the main area of the beast, ready to devour.

((Well... Apparently I got back a bit too late. >.< ))
Fire didn't do much and light magic actually helped it... "Let's see how much you like the cold!" Jack declared, attempting to freeze the vines that had grabbed ahold of Kikyo.
"Do you not think they can handle themselves?" Kain questioned, raising an eyebrow.

Kikyo gasped out in pain as th vin squeezed her harder. She attempted to find a way out of the situation, but wasn't going to try her previous method.
Oomizu looked up to Kain, frowning, before looking in the direction of the mountains. "It's not completely that. It's just... what would happen to Mom and Jack since Dad and Nina are't around to revive them if they do die? Sure, Aunty Nina's still alive, but she hasn't been around in a while." She looked down, still frowning. "They're all alone up there and against who-knows-what, none of us there to help."

The vines froze a bit and turned black at the skin, however the thick vines didnt freeze all the way through . it squeezed Kikyo even tighter as it brought her in closer
the vine holding Kikyo received a clean cut as Link; using his hook shot, flew through the air and caught Kikyo preventing her from falling, "Hey miss me?" he asked her as they arrived at the tree he had grappled on. he noticed her bleeding a bit "Im sorry i didnt get here in time. " he said looking at the beast with a angered glare.

"That isn't what I'm worried about dear." Temari replied to him as she patted his chest with the back of her hand, chuckling lightly to herself. "But thank you anyway." She then reached up and kissed him on the lips quickly, smiling gently all the while.
Hitomi raised her eyebrows at this. "Oh really? Wow, I thought that all prisons were like those that they portrayed in those prison flicks at the movie theaters. Hmm, very interesting indeed." She told him before chuckling to herself, smirking. "Maybe I should start causin' some trouble and get thrown in a comfy jail like that, if you recommend it so highly."
Kirara blinked at Gear, her fear for Hotstreak growing slightly. "I don't want her hanging around him." Her ears flicked back and forth for a moment before she looked over to Hitomi once more. "She just joked about going to prison to see what it was really like. He's a bad influence on her!" She whispered to him heatedly.
