Kat heard the car start down the lane at least ten minutes before she saw it approach. 'note to self, hearing has improved,' she thought and looked back down at the paper she had all over the table. To try and keept her mind busy she had decided to work on her problems. She had a list of all teh evidence about what had happened out at the crater, it was short but she was still trying to remember stuff. She had a list of how her body and mind was changing, she wished she knew more about vampire and werewolves. Besides what she had learned herself she knew practicly nothing about her own species. She also had two short lists trying to figure out characteristics of each species.
She stood and took one last glance at her papers before she walked towards the door and waited for Curtis to come inside.

Jeff smiled, "I know," he yawned and scratched Yakov behind one of his ears.

Even though the drive home was long, Curtis smiled broadly. He finally had someone to come home to. Someone to greet him at the door who had missed him as much as they missed him. On top of that, the house was still standing. When he emerged from the car, the smell of human did not exist. He envisioned Katra all but jumping around on the other side of the door.

"Just... dizzy," Connor answered in a sulking manner. Curse this new part of him! What if they had been on the way to something... interesting? Connor swore.

Kat couldn't take it, she threw open the door and stared at Curtis. She was elated to see him but she wasn't looking forward to the question she had to ask him. She smiled but lost it.
"Curtis, can vampires get pregnant?"

"You just sit here." She went back to her closet and pulled out a bottle of water and then sat next to him on the bed. "Here drink this." She brushed a strand of hair off his face. "I'm sorry. I should have know better. Its just your wolf...it was...I couldn't..." 'Oh my God am I actually blushing?'

"Mmm, modest too." Yakov kissed Jeff's chest and traced lines of his abs with his finger.

Excitement, love eagerness, and then suddenly a random question.
"Um... what? Vampires?" Curtus raised a brow as he watched Katra in the doorway. "I... don't know," he admitted. "I do not know much about them."

"Yeah, I could smell you, too," Connor admitted sheepishly. "It wasn't that strong but.... I could tell." He sipped gratefully at the water.

Kat frowned. She crossed the ten feet between them with one step in a slip second. She hugged Curtis tightly, "Curtis, we...well, we didn't...use anything last night...you know...what if I'm pregnant?..." She looked up at him her face covered in worry.

Luka smiled at him. "So, your senses are coming in then. That would explain the dizzyness...are they still around?"

"What if" indeed? Really, Curtis had not considered such things the night before. He'd only been thinking of... them.
"Um.. well... let's hope not," he answered. "Do you... know your cycle?"

Kat had never been asked a question about her cycle by anyone other than her mother. "Yes, and well, next week I will need some feminin hygene products...but, I donno. Maybe I'm overreacting." She thought for a moment, "This weekend we are going to need some...stuff."

Luka tilted her head. "I guess that all depends on your definition of better, they're going to have stick around sometime." She rested her head on his shoulder. "Well, now we know that...stimulation is probably not the best thing for you right now. Then again...it could just speed things along."

"Seriously?" Connor raised a brow. "Pop wasn't kidding when he said that women can never make up their mind." He flopped over onto the bed. Should he admit that, even though he wanted it, he was also terribly nervous? She wasn't a virgin. He could smell that now. And... now that he was a wolf... something like this would connect them permanently. He'd forgotten about that. Connor groaned and rolled over onto his side. His body ached.

Never in his life had Curtis had this sort of conversation. Yes, he knew some things about sex. He was eighty-nine, after all. Age regardless, his face was burning hot and no doubt incredibly red.
"Yes... we'll make sure that's taken care of."

Kat could feel Curtis's awkwardness and decided to change the subject.
"Yeah,...well I've been working on something since I woke up an hour ago, come let me show you." She grabbed Curtis by the hand and drug him into the cabin and pointed to her lists.

Yakov continued for a moment and then set Jeff free. He didn't want to go abusing the power, that would eventually suck all the fun out of it. "I bet if I did that long enough, you would pass out and sleeping would no longer be a problem."
