I've noticed a lot of random signatures, and was thinking about getting one. One in particular that I finally found the URL for was the one in Shiroi Tenshi's sig. So I started reading through the rules. Most of them seemed pretty obvious... no nudity, yeah, yeah... as much as I'd like to, I know I'm not going to get away with that on Gaia anyway. But then this rule caught my eye:
RandoSig Rules
16) No images that express support for or display homosexuality
Homophobia: Fear of homosexuality or of becoming homosexual.
I'm not a homophobic, but I'm not going to have that stuff in my database. What it comes down to is if I'm going to allow my money that I pay for this hosting to be used to spread the idea that homosexuality is acceptable/normal. That just pissed me off. I love the attempt at covering up the discrimination. Oh, how horrible it would be to spread the idea that homosexuality is acceptable/normal! No, you're not a homophobe, you're just a bigot. Arg.. people piss me off sometimes.
Suffice to say, I will
not be using RandoSig, even though the pictures I would post probably would not violate the rules, even the one mentioned above. It's just a matter of principle.
