Standing there waiting he kept hoping, wishing that Kieran would come to his senses and realize he didn't want to fight with him. Instead, he was given the cold shoulder and left to find his own means home. Jakob wasn't particularly fond of ride shares as he had heard of many unsettling stories about them. Then again, the local cabs weren't much better and would take twice as long. Jakob stood beneath the lamp until his ride showed up. He hadn't even noticed that he was being watched. Sliding into the backseat, they soon took off.
His driver was more chatty than he preferred. Every few minutes he would try to speak to him as though they were friends. Jakob merely mumbled along and eventually ignored him altogether. He stared out the window as they drove through the quiet night streets. He watched the little map on his phone plot out their route, getting closer and closer to his home. When they arrived some fifteen minutes later, he thanked the man and got out. From there he walked up the familiar path and unlocked the front door. Stepping into the house, it was quiet with only a few people hanging out in the living room.
Closing and locking the door behind him, he walked right past them and went up to his bedroom. Once he was safe in his room, he flipped on the lights. Everything was just as he left it. Jakob padded across the space to his desk, taking out his weapons and laying down his phone. Sitting down on the edge of the bed he stared down at the floor between his legs. This was not how he wanted his night to go. He stayed there a minute longer before rising. Sighing softly, he stripped off his shirt and then his pants. He kicked his shoes under his bed and went to sit at his desk. Glancing towards his cork board was all the information he had collected about Abel. He wondered if the man could give him any insight for his roommates behavior. Picking up his phone, Jakob put the males number into his phone and proceeded to send him a text. "Hey....is this Abel?" he wrote. Hitting send, he could only hope the message went to the correct person.

It was late when he entered his room. He was still in disbelieve that Kieran hadn't so much as wished him good night. He hated that their first night out together in over a month had ended in a fight. But there was nothing that could be done about it. Locking himself in his room, Jakob stripped down to his underwear and sat at his desk. He thought about texting Kieran just to make sure he had gotten home alright. Instead, he looked towards his cork board. He stared at the amount of information he'd gathered on Abel before putting his phone number into his phone. A few moments later, Jakob sent his message.
He wasn't expecting any sort of reply. His thumb hovered over Kieran's name as he thought about texting him. Taking a breath he tapped the icon and started to type out a message when another one appeared on his screen. Leaving the message for Kieran alone for the time being, he switched over to the new message. Jakob wasn't surprised Abel was questioning him. "Take a wild guess." he replied. Hitting the send button, he started to type again. "I'm just letting you know that if Kieran comes home, he's likely to be in a mood. I don't know what happened, but we were out, having fun. Then he got angry and talking about making me find my own way home crying " Hitting send again, Jakob started to feel emotional again. He didn't want to recall what had happened, but thought it best to give Abel a warning before he started blaming him for his roommates temper.
