Maureen grabbed her cellphone that had been sitting on the coffee table. "That reminds me... I need to call my uncle to make sure we can get an operating room."

Jeff gave Yakov a strange look. "I was just going to try for the hiting her on the head and making her pass out as soon as she entered the room attempt but convincing her might work too." He turned to Maureen, "That would be good. I donno about vampires but it takes about twice as much gas to get a were to pass out than a normal human and pain killers wont work unless you have about 10 times the normal dose and about a 4th of the time they say it will last."

Steph sighed happily and crawled up onto the bed. She curled up into a ball on the pillows and smiled at Maureen.
