uheb I never read manga anymore. XD It's way to expensive here, anyways. 15$ a book. Pssh.
I can buy three novels for that price! 15!? Geeze! You can order Manga and have it delevered to your front door for that price! It's only 10 here... Which is why I don't get into really long series... Just Gravitation and Wish and stuff like that. Wish is actually pretty cute. It's like two or three books. Very short but very interesting. Side Story: My g-ma once took me to buy manga and we were standing there in Barnes and Noble and she was looking over all the manga. She remembered that I used to be so addicted to DragonBall and DragonBall Z... And she sees the whole row of DB comics and she says... "Why don't you buy the Dragon Ball series?" I wanted to laugh at her. Then I explained how much it cost for each book. She said to stick with my Gravitation...

;-; So many funny topics are being locked and deleted. While they might be able to be talked about here, it isn't as interesting and they can get easily lost. <.<; Then there are werdios like me that feel odd talking in the hangout and would rather post in smaller topics.

I find it halarious that your grandmother would encourage you to read the series full of boy love and hotsex instead of the kid-friendly one. I take it she doesn't know waht gravi is about...? XD
My parents would die if they knew about the anime I watch. Ha, I have a 'Got Yaoi?' shirt, and I told them it's an inside joke from my favourite series. XDD

I told her... It's weird, my g-ma is Catholic but she doesn't care about all the 'sinful' things in my life so long as I'm not doing it. xd

But, now that I think about it, my parents have no idea. I mean, half the anime I download ((it's still legal! XD)) is yaoi, and I watch Queer as Folk every Monday, and I was supposed to go to the pride parade in Toronto not too long about but my friend cancelled out. XD
Ahahaha. Stupid, oblivious parentals.

Icysnowgirl ;-; So many funny topics are being locked and deleted. While they might be able to be talked about here, it isn't as interesting and they can get easily lost. <.<; Then there are werdios like me that feel odd talking in the hangout and would rather post in smaller topics. The topics are being deleted because they are not so major that they deserve their own thread. It is also an effort to keep this guild clean and free of spam. Most the topics also already have a thread that qualifies as being the same topic. For Example: It is pointless to make a whole thread about drawing or editing a picture involving pocky when there is already an Arts and Crafts thread. Real Example: There is a new thread about limited Pocky resources in England... But there is already a thread for this with the issue, and its solution which can be found here. My point is, we like to encourage our members to interact with one-another and this is why we would like most topics of small discussion to come here. There is a thread for nearly every topic... This leaves no excuse for spamming the guild with the same types of topics. Also, these pages go so slow that it is not likely the topic will be overlooked and/or lost. In the unlikely event that this happens, repost it... But do not spam the guild. The rules state the above and the Mods ask for your cooperation. (And seeing as I'm the only current active mod on the daily basis system... I feel I must do my best to inforce these rules...)Sincerely, Your b***h Mod SBA

Of course, my mom's kinda like that cool Aunt that you tell everything to. *shrug* She's not really oblivious to anything. I think people are oblivious because they want to be. Trust me, just getting to know your kid's friends is enough to know what they're into.

Like they say 'Ignorance is bliss'. People stay ignorant because they don't like change and they don't want to leave the comfort of their "Bubble". For most people it's just too much to handle and they refuse to get informed.
